Hi, I had the same issue as everyone else. Mine was fixed by : Open Battle.net but do NOT start the game. Next open wow directly from the retail folder, now it should open the game without log in information, close wow. Now you can start from battle.net directly and it enters log in information and opens normally. Hope this works for someone else.

Game not launching

The game won’t launch when I click “Play”, also “Scan and Repair” is greyed out. WoW does not appear in the list over running programs.
