WoW losing FPS and freezing

These last few weeks when entering raids, even M+, I have constant FPS losses and freezes. sound also starts to doing weird things temporary. Also the CPU or memory are only a 40% when it happens. I have the graphics from the following post, which in theory are worse than what the computer is capable of supporting:

The main features are:
Operating System: Windows 11 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 22631) (22621.ni_release.220506-1250)
System Manufacturer: Acer
System Model: Nitro AN515-54
BIOS: V1.33 (type: UEFI)
Processor: Intel(R) Core™ i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz (12 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Memory: 32768MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 32606MB RAM
Page File: 16162MB used, 21306MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 12
I attach the pastebin with the directx diagnosis

Gracias!

Have you checked the CPU (and GPU) temps?
Chances are that one or even both components are throttling and running at lower clockspeeds, which would cause FPS issues in games.

One thing you can easily do is to install the HWInfo tool and let it run in the background while playing WoW.
Then when the FPS drops happen again, switch to that tool and look at the temperatures, especially max temps.
HWInfo also shows if the CPU/GPU is throttling due to heat.
Make a screenshot of the temps and post it here.

Thanks for answer!
Could be so, its weird because I think it has been always at 90º (Acer Nitro use to be at this temp) but last days its dropping FPS so hard, tindral mythic at 8 FPS
Cant include photo but it says CPU throttling in some Cores

Yeah that’s not good.
How old is your Acer?
You might need to reapply thermalpaste.

Hi,
Changed thermal paste and temperature went from 90ºC to 70ºC and no more FPS dropping, also no CPU throttling
Thanks! <3
