That’s why it’s incredibly disheartening to see players, including close friends, lose their characters because of connection drops or server instability. These aren’t mistakes or poor plays—these are technical failures, and they completely undermine the sense of fairness the mode is built on.
Watching someone disappear from the world due to a disconnect, knowing all their effort is gone for reasons beyond their control, just doesn’t sit right. Death should be the result of a misstep.
