Recently tried to start WoW for the first time since the update to 8.3, and was unable to do so.
When I try to start the game battle.net opens like usual, I click the play button, and for a moment the button greys out, saying that the game is launching, and then it goes back to how it was before. Battle.net says the game is running but nothing else happens - the game doesn’t open. Not even if I sit and wait for several minutes, with nothing else running on my computer and my anti-virus shields down.
When I open the task manager WoW doesn’t appear to be running, however battle.net is taking up on average 35-40% of my CPU.
I’ve tried everything on both this and this list, and nothing stands out as a problem. I’ve even tried reinstalling the game. Nothing is working.
Would really appreciate some help here, it’s getting incredibly frustrating.

Hi there Alchanyx!
So first off, please try these steps:
Please fully close the Blizzard App, and any Blizzard games, and then uninstall the App as per this guide.
Next, please delete all the Blizzard App files, some of which may be left over after uninstallation, by following this guide.
Finally, please download and install the App again via this link.
Hopefully that should resolve the issue, but if it does not, please contact us here, opening an issue an attaching your msinfo file:
