Can we get a wow parkour event or game? The movement system in wow is really good and having some jumping game would be a really fun thing.
Parkour.meme
Getting to some of the treasures in Korthia require parkour lol… unless you are a warlock
Or a venthyr. Those tricksy Vampires
Add in some rollerblades and I’m with you 10,000%
I’m… i’m confused right now.
We already have parkour in the game, yes we do.
It’s when we try to get to those damned korthia mushrooms and treasures!
Blasted trees having dents that we can’t see as well and cause us to fall.
How about Ice skating in the winter?
Skyforge had the most fun winter addition when i still played it.
Would be amazing if wow introduced something like this.
GW2 style jumping puzzles, caves and exploration would be a very welcome addition to WoW IMO. They could hide some nice cosmetics behind them and it’ll give people a reason to visit the old world again.
go play gw2
Except most serious GW2 players dislike jumping puzzles, because whole endgame content is based on jumping puzzles, bacis game + 2 expansions, now third one inc as well and every single new map released with the story chapters.
No one likes forced jumping puzzles, which you have to complete if you want to craft any legendary and if you want maps explored, which u need anyway in order to unlock elite specialization and mastery points, which were at 270,2 years ago when i stoped playing.
You gotta jump if u want mastery points,if you don’t want, well too bad for you, because you don’t have map perks you get with the mastery progression, like flying higher, longer, jumping higher etc, which is 100% required in order to complete certain maps and participate in events that are essential for legendary items/armor crafting.
Every single map is jumping puzzle based,i mean sane people stop at certain point and ask themselves wtf are we doing???
I quite enjoy GW2 puzzles myself. That said, without some major changes the kind of puzzles you can get in GW2 simply won’t work in WoW because the jump mechanics are completely different–where GW2 allows you to adjust your momentum and direction while you are in the air, WoW is far less flexible.
The jumping puzzle with the jellies in Nazjatar is personally responsible for at least a dozen gray hair on my head, and it’s not even a proper jumping puzzle.
From someone who is absolutely horrid at jumping/balancing/anything like that. Please no!
idk, im too old for this s%@#
Scuffed tree hit boxed parkour make not
Try to collect all thhe Datacrons in SW:ToR…
Im having PTSD just to think about the fleet Datacron or god… Makeb
Korthia is a paradise compared to that
Don’t judge pls. Blizzard is a poor indie company and we can’t expect them to have perfect servers
It’s those trees that make me grateful for Heroic Leap
Its good to be a Venthyr, with Theotar’s double door of shadows
Ah to be fair I haven’t touched GW2 since launch so I had no idea that it was necessary for progression. For me it was mostly just the hidden areas and puzzles I enjoyed. I totally agree that it should be a side activity, like achievement hunting or pet battles.
