WoW Arena is a competetive environment. It exists for 15 years of course people are really good at it and the average skillcap is very high BUT there are endless ressources to learn and watch from other higher rated players and since Knowledge is maybe the most important skill in WoW PvP.
i mean you said you are playing a warrior, who is currently the best dps spec in the game after the nerfs to mage.
you really dont. I suggest you just play without stressing too much about rating. Just play, have fun and try to improve.
Gotta say it’s quite entertaining to witness people complaining about not having time to play and not reaching high cr while being hardstuck 1.4 with hundreds of played games
You are right but thats not all. I remeber in mop 1400 rating was like tutorial people playing in greens etc. Now people tryharding a lot and not gonna join till 200 ilvl or something…more like 210. Also people played any specs…now? People are so tryhard that even on 1400 they want to play only with meta specs. Etc.
But thats not all. Also we have rating gatekeeping and boosting which isnt helping at all.
So people became better but also more toxic, selfish and tryhard like they are rank 1 players.
This is probably the biggest wake up call. Streamers talk about ‘‘lol dude just go and get 1600 it’s free rating’’.
It probably was really free back in the day, in MoP and WoD. But today the difference between a 1600 player and a 2400 is all in game sense and communication, everyone from 1100cr and up knows exactly how to do damage and stuff like stat prio/talents etc because of resources like skillcapped and icyveins.
