It’s more usual to dump all that into a pastebin, then give a link to the pastebin instead, lol.

Am sure someone more knowledgeable about hardware/software interactions will be along with a fine toothcomb soon though.

my bad first time :stuck_out_tongue:

dxdiag - https://pastebin.com/Y2Rq1Nf0
msinfo - https://pastebin.com/YChPcmFn

It’s unlikely that WOW is the main cause of the crashes, but that its a symptom of another issue.

There are few things running at startup I’d personally disable (I don’t like bloat!), you’re also using Windows 11, which can be temperamental when it comes to gaming, if you have the option I’d suggest to try Windows 10.

im playing all types of games on max settings and wow is the only one that restarts my pc cant seem to find what the issue is tho

ok after some testing i did its definetely something from the graphics settings thats giving me the issue not sure which setting. its not my pc i have good fps and not overheating

next time it happens do not start game yet check gx.log file that is in wow retail_ logs folder check other logs to they might provide clue
If had gx.log file hint that it crashed cos something unsupported before perhaps illigal action is being done by game which system is not handling well

Anyway could you try check your memory sticks check if pins are clean if had random reboots before due to memory issues or cpu issues
In my case tho may have been undervolted cpu due to a bug in bios, but if had 1 memory stick not post at the time as well which had dirty pins that i cleaned up after that all my issues went away when also downgrading bios to a more stable vision.

Random reboots can also indicate weak power supply tho next to overheating like you mention, i have feeling you know if its related or not good luck.

Hello everyone,

@Bluedabaadee Glad to hear that you managed to circumvent the problem lowering the graphic settings. If you want to dig more into this issue, there’s a few things to do.

In case of a drivers issue, you should uninstall them using the DDU program before reinstalling them. If the problem started after a drivers update, install a previous version.

It could be caused by one of your background programs (usually overlay or security). You should consider disabling/temporarily uninstall them :

  • IOBit / advanced systemcare
  • Riva tuner statics
  • MSI afterburner
  • icue
  • Razer Synapse / Cortex
