Right now I can’t begin the Dark rider quest because 5 rogues are camping the spawn in Deadwind pass…
There is no counter play to rogues, they only attack when they have enough of a advantage where they cannot lose.
The only way to fight them is with a pvp trinkit on a 5 minute cooldown… Which they can do many other things to also counter. They have crazy burst damage and even if you did have your pvp trinket off cooldown and equipped they will probably spam mutilate you to death without you have even having 1 GCD of opportunity to fight back.
Context: I’m wearing full PVP stamina + armor gear with flat -10% damage taken rune and Moonkin form with +300% armor
If i was to bring a group of friends or other pvpers enough to beat them, they simply won’t attack and stay stealth.
Whatever you do in the game, you will be griefed and have your time wasted by rogues.
How about we have a separate version of the game where rogues are removed so if you see someone who may gank you, at least you can prepare to fight them, equip PVP gear or attempt to avoid them.
EDIT: There is only one layer on Crusader Strike EU (when STV event is not running), so I cannot swap layer for those who think they are smart spamming this suggestion.
people still defending rogue BS after 20years. it doesnt matter how OP or UP rogue is, people still defend whatever they do with bad reasons.
nerf rogues? nah give a bad reason
remove rogues? again give a bad reason not to remove them.
some rogue mains are literally the worst players alive.
Rouge is a noob class in core vanilla, back in the day when there was no guide for everything it was kind of a skilled one, since you had to figure out what and how to use.
In SoD rouge still stong, but other calsses also can do Things not just sitting and waiting for the final blow. Im playing mm hunter, frostmage and retpal, i have no problem with rouges. Of course, it’s a question of when they will attack me, they can surprise me while im on a hunter with low HP, but paladin got bubble, mage got blink and 2x ice block.
I can’t speak for the other classes, but I think everyone has more counterplay chances compared to core vanilla.
You cant really do much against arcane mages in sod if you cant avoid the big burst somehow. I dont want to protect rouge players but i think arcane mage mains are worse these days.
It’s good that you stacked stamina as it’s the most important pvp stat but unfortunately if you want to beat a rogue ,try HOTW spec , even though at this level you can’t use it’s full potential,but its worth to give it a try and way better than glass canon moonkin form.

man literally assumes 24/7 a rogue is ready to jump onto you, jokes aside you wont ever escape a rogue who is actually competent in keeping you in the CC.
I usually kill random ppl once, after that only if they comming for a re match.
Of course, it often depends on the situation, if I catch someone who is camping on low levels, I will not spare them either.
I dont like low lvl campers, so i dont wanna become one, the exception is if they try to intervene in a fight, but those who do this are usually at most 3-4 levels lower.
