Any news on WoW coming to a streaming platform? I stopped playing at the end of cataclysm but recently picked up one of the new M1 macs which meant that I could play again. However, I wouldn’t say that the Macs run WoW well, dropping to 15 FPS in places like spires of ascension.
As a Mac/chrome os/iOS user that has little interest in getting gaming hardware, I really like streaming services. My service of choice is stadia, having tried shadow, Xcloud and GeForce now. As it has the best combination of quality and user experience.
Would be good to be able to not have to manage the download and hard drive space required as well as the increased performance that using a streaming service will provide.
You cannot (cannot as in its against the EULA) use a cloud gaming service to play wow as none have been officially endorsed or partnered by Blizzard. GeForce was in its beta but that was withdrawn.
You can find WOW on cloud gaming services but id expect a ban for using them
Not any that I know of. But if it ever happens in the near future it’ll probably be Stadia as Blizz and Google have an exclusivity contract going on right now.
