WOW token is getting nerfed

Nah, you can buy 60 days with bner balance.

You can to buy game time, and words ā€œgame timeā€ are used in article.

Will see if this will be the case, but market already flooded with millions of the most common mats.

Maybe it will take effect on next xpac.

O yeah, it will take some time for new equilibrium to occur. No doubt about that.

But the botters/exploiters now need to attach a payment method to their account. So when 100 accounts get made with the same Credit card, itā€™s easy to spot where the problem is.

Why shouldnā€™t they tell us about minor changes in their conditions?

-white noise-

Gift 60 days game time to someone do work? He can buy token after or no?

No there are a lot of open Questions. Because it is just not clear what counts as " Real Money" and if you can mix ā€œRealā€ with ā€œFakeā€ or not.
And it is not about me spending 13ā‚¬ it is if i have to.

Given that they specify a date and not a minimum time (2017 instead of 5 years) maybe they need to have one payment per every client as a way to identify them and maybe 2017 is the oldest date they have right now.

Because Blizzard hasnā€™t given their reason for this change. The bots thing is pure speculation.

It might be a stupid question, but is it enough if 1 account is operated with real money playing time and the others are operated with tokens? Or does every account have to be paid once with real money? Every Account is on the same b-net.

Good change.

Iā€™m shocked and appalled to see the usual crowd spinning it as if someone had killed their puppy.

In a nutshell. New xpac has not sold for CASH as expected as players are using token to convert to cash to buy, now they cannot make yearly quota. So you cannot use in game gold if you have not purchased and CONSUMED 30 days worth of game time for CASH.

Confusing part is do you buy game time for cash once and continue to use tokens or is there a limit on how many tokens you can use for game time before you have to use cash again ?

Whole idea seems dumb imo and smacks of corporate greed again. May aswell just dump the token and make them no longer available. OR remove subs from token altogether and allow it to be converted to in game gold only and not cash.

After November 21, 2023, any player who cannot purchase a WoW Token for gold in-game will need to first purchase and consume at least 30 days of game time for real money. This can be done on any World of Warcraft account across the playerā€™s Battle.net account to qualify.

Tell me you dislike Blizzard and will ascribe a negative slant to anything without telling me you hate Blizzard.

I have no more likes to give.

They earn more with tokens than with direct game time for money. Your comment is hasty.

Even if we buy from shop in game overwatch?(itā€™s ok)? and what should be the minimum purchase amount to remove this limitā€¦thank you

The question is if you fall into this category and lets say you bought 6 month of time with tokens at the start of November, see this notice and then buy 30 days with real money on or after 21 Nov. It sounds like you have to wait until you use up the 30 days before you can buy another token which will be in 7 months?

Iā€™m not really sure what behaviour or practice this is going to curb. I sub to the game so it definitely wonā€™t affect me but I have no idea who it will affect.
