WOW token is getting nerfed

I had question, does gifted Game time codes count as Real Money Purchases? I’ve started my WoW 2/3 accounts only with these codes and was wondering if I should Buy new Game time with real money for those 2 accounts.

Also Does Expansion bundles with gametime counts too or not?

It doesn’t change much.

I have no idea, I guess we’ll find out.

People will just buy gold off gold sellers like they still do if it’s a better deal than the current gold amount for €20… or before the WoW Token existed…

Gold Sellers right now thanking Blizzard for making them more Money again.

This is not going to happen because you have to pay one sub per battle.net account and all the wow game accounts under that battle.net will get the restriction lifted so they can keep using the tokens.

As I said all this hassle about bots is just a scape goat this changes nothing for bots but to annoy actual players.
Crazy to me that blizzard continuously shoot themselves in the foot with all these policy changes at the end they will only lose active players.

All this is just to get the extra 13euro or 15 usd from these players once who are sustaining playing from gold.

you explained well but i m still confused cos of my english…sorry…i mostly buy my game time with tokens but i spend my BnetBalance for next expansion and was out of balance then i bought 60 days game time with my credit card js a few days ago…it counts ? or i should click ‘‘subcribe now’’ button always on my right top screen (even i m subbed game since 2010) and buy 1 month sub from there ?

The 60 days GTC you bought with your CC made it count. You could have also bought the Epic version of the expension with CC and it would have counted too.
Oh and another fact you are only subbed if you have a subscription active that is waiting for actively billing another time straight away once your current time ran out.
If you cancel this active renewal you only have gametime.
Yes this may sound confusal but for Blizzard it is a big difference.

Why DOnt you read the artichle for urself instead letting other help u out? Are U A COMMIE?

idk what you are saying, but hey ^^ thanks for joining a late thread. hope you doing well!

U have a low IQ or whats going on here? U trolling?

breakfast!

im teasing ^^ don´t take me serious

Why can’t they just say “If you have not had a subscription payment made for at least 30 days via a credit/debit card since 2017 you can’t buy a token”. It seems a lot simpler that way.

How on earth did you and some others here get this right ?

I over bought tokens to purchase the DF expansion. I then tried to use the balance to buy a 6month sub but popped up with a message saying " some services cannot be bought with bnet balance". I would have had to use my credit card to purchase 6months.

You beat me to it. I think the same if they going to expect you to use cash first then they may as well just remove the token altogether. Keep it in the shop for those who want to buy gold to use in game and give it a fixed value of 400k or something like that.

Please just move to classic already and spare us your constant doom and gloom.

and then you have return of rmt and gold buyer in even futher force on wotlk and retail, making games worse. gg

Nothing is worse than officially sanctioned cheating.

If its in the rules its not cheating.

You just don’t like it - but its pragmatic.

It’s cheating. It allows you to sidestep the game’s economy system by paying money, gaining power unfairly.

It’s like selling cheat codes or pay2win. I stand by that, no matter what.
