WoW token purchase limit?

Lately I decided to reroll to rogue as I was not having a good time at all on my warlock and decided to purchase a load of WoW tokens (with IRL money) to enable me to gear fast and be raid ready on this character. I was hoping to buy a few more but it says “already have too many of that item”. I have none in my inventory or on the AH as they all sold a few days ago.

Is there a certain limit you can purchase with IRL money within a certain timeframe? Is there a way I can purchase more perhaps creating a second account or something?

I understand that it’s frowned upon but I was having an awful time and did what I needed to do to get back up to speed asap on this character.

Shadowphax#21555 if anyone can answer me

I think this might be the issue?

10 tokens every 7 days is the current limit

(Once you buy a token a 7 day timer from the exact time you buy the token will begin)

I would assume its a limitation all your WoW accounts that are on the same battle.net account will share so the only way to truly bypass said limit would be by creating a new battle.net account with a new WoW subscription and buying the tokens that way

And white knights say that the game is not pay to win. Paying for BoEs and carries.

Like that is pay 2 win definition. That’s merely skip-ing content. Why would it bother you since you can reach the same level in like 1-2 months of actual playing.

Exactly, got this mage to 370 in a day buying a heroic uldir boost and couple mythic 10s. Cost me like £30 in wow tokens And saved couple months hard slog.

If you think for a second you’ll get invited just because of your gear then you have another thing coming lmfao :joy:

I mean it’s your money, you’re free to spend it how you want but with raider io you aren’t going to get far at all in regards to getting accepted into raids / dungeons.

GL though

He can just pay to be carried. Why would he count on gear. Also if its raid all he has to do is pay for one carry for the achievement and be good to go.

That’s not warcrafting though, is it?

You would rather pay loads of money than actually play the game and you are being judgey to other people? £40 for a game then £10 a month then pays more to not actually play it. Makes sense.

As the saying goes “a fool and his money are easily parted”

I don’t think I’ll get invited for M+ or anything like that due to gear. It does however save a guild the time and effort of gearing me up or dragging me along to HC clears whilst I am doing barely any DPS just to get to a stage I can start progressing mythic with them. Like I said. I’ve cleared HC on my main (I know that isn’t anything special). I was bored and frustrated and rather quickly gear up an old main and run with this.

What makes you think you have the right to mock someone over how they spend their own hard earned money anyway? Also who uses “lmfao” in 2018? a a a a work out.

do you play the game?

Don’t let people tell you how to spend your money. A lot of people that play WoW are low income households. Paying for winning is in a lot of games right now and there are always gonna be people who will pay.

Please stop derailing the thread. Larenox asked a legitimate question, no reason for the personal attacks.

I haven’t paid to win anything though have I? I’ve paid to get to a position I can play the game the way I enjoy which is raiding. I’m being mocked for spending a small amount of money to avoid the absolute chore of running normal mythics and people are saying I should run world quests etc. New patch and raid would be out before I had a chance to progress if that was the case.
