Token sales were disabled in Türkiye when some people abused our local pricing to gain some advantage about 2-3 years ago. But now, as of 16th of January, our local pricing is, in effect, gone - the prices are same just displayed in our currency.
Turkey didn’t adopt euro. Local currency was depreciated very rapidly rather abruptly because of different reasons. After the currency got destabilized blizzard switched to local currency “turkish lira” (2 years later or so?) on the blizzard store and implemented local pricing. I don’t know why they jammed up the prices recently though, which connects you to the OP’s topic.
I went on holiday there last year and everything was in EUROS which made everything more expensive…just thought it was the reason behind the WoW price change.
