Disappointed is a word that cannot convey the way I feel about this. Just because Wrath has an economic problem with the abundances of gold we have, adding the Token does NOT fix the damn problem. You had one really easy job and you somehow screwed it up. Thanks Blizzard.

I’ve been meaning to do a little Wotlk Classic, as I have a 70 that needs to level up.
I have to say, this announcement has really put me off doing so. It’s not what I would want from my Classic experiences what so ever. So I won’t be logging in any time soon.
It’s fine in retail, but shouldn’t be in Classic.

The game is dying already, everyone is quiting, i quit a few weeks ago and wont be coming back, the token doesnt effect me at all.

No, Blizzard had the tools to straight up punish goldsellers/buyers, GDKPs, etc. but turned a blind eye to that matter. It’s not the right choice. They instead ignored the player feedback and focused on the moneymaking. It wouldn’t surprise me that this right there was their end goal to begin with.

WoW token is long overdue…it should have been in the game from the very start of classic.
Instead we got big difference between those who bought gold from 3rd party (and with Blizz swiss cheese holes in their gold verification systems) were ahead of those who tried to farm gold legitly. On top we got GDKP because of that and stuff like that ;).
Now only RDF is left.

And RDF will not happen. Not because the majority of players don’t want it but because Blizzard doesn’t care. I bet they will not release it even after ICC. The actions of the players and the incompetence of Blizzard not shutting GDKPs and Goldsellers by punishing them caused this.
