Wow UI why blizzard allow this much addons?

i mean u also needed to know when they get chi proc which they start to ramp cos then u know next is leg sweep soon

and theres no way of knowing his proc without aura

i had to make aura to show flayed on my pet or party too which turns into ks icons also when it procs them ks just for increased awareness because razor and ks was like 20+20 of their overall dmg if people do nothing during flayed shot so all in all if u removed it or dealt with it somehow u removed alot from sv

but if op wants to play game without addons and auras for increased emotional reactions were it? then ofc his allowed to but dont suspect us rest to just stop using addons and auras which blizzard aint going to disable either

u lost me on the emotional elements, i have emotional reactions each day even with addons to the game

but reasons for addons on wow was explained clear and hence they stay

If they didn’t allow me to track abilities like kidney, stormbolt, etc. I could quit playing hunter (Surv mostly, but also others) as moving in once and getting free kidneyed can lose you the game quicker than you can say “addons ruin the game”.

Nah man, some things are just info you need to avoid getting completely hammered, even just an addon like diminish that tells you when you are on or off DR is pretty important to allow for aggressive play.

i would literally quit this game after 18 years of giving them money if they did what op is asking

and its already demonstrated on priva what happened when they banned most important addons half of the playerbase quit that mmo on their server, they killed their own priva

btw related DR like u mentioned aint it funny how theyre still not part of default in anyway even tho how big part of gameplay knowing diminish is, its beyond stupid rly

I know, its crazy. For some classes it really matters just exactly when you are off DR (Hunter, to weave in and out of danger, Priest to death incoming CC, Druid to shift bear etc.) It should really be baseline info shown to you as its essentially the status of your character, arguably as important as seeing your own HP.

The game evolved around people who know each other cooldowns it makes sense that this is the case but it doesnt have to be. And before you say the game would have to change a lot, the meta even now is about to change drastically with cc reduction, changing the mechanics of the game is nothing new.
