Reading through the WoWhead Comments it seems to be that she has a reddit with the same name and that redditor seems to be a 16 y/o cancer patient who probably got a Make-a-Wish come true with that.
Didnt read the comments… omg… I’m really sad now…

The alliance quest to deliver alecia’s poem, I never did turn that quest in, kept the item until I faction changed, was gutted to loose it. And the tauren in mulgore.

That’s actually a really nice move from Blizz, and they even added a NPC for her.
