What is the overall best class for soloing old content in war within, that is not also completely useless in “active” PVE rotation
MM hunter is quite fast.
also makes a difference if you have gear on any class you play

Trailblazer + pathfinding talents + cunning pet. Multishot everything.

affliction warlock is also pretty fast, you can just perma run with burning rush and dot everything. And since damage in old content is so high then every single dot tick will heal you to full.
