Morning,
Seem to be having issues launching wow, done all the usual deleting the battlenet folder locating game folder, reset in game settings all the usual crap, but when I click play from bnet client nothing happens, then occasionally pops up world of warcraft is updating … world of warcraft is now playable, click play nothing same thing happens again.
Please help I paid for early access and cant even open the friggin client !

when you go into the game files and try to open wow through “wow.exe”, does it give you the error “Invalid access to memory location”? this is a problem i’ve been trying to report for a week now but every time i send in a ticket i just get an automated response telling me to do the same things i’ve done a hundred times before. sometimes it starts working again if you uninstall wow and/or battle.net then reinstall it, but for me i have to do this every single day because it’ll break again after some time.
i even had this same problem with overwatch 2 before i reinstalled it through steam, so it seems like a battle.net issue
I had the exact same issue, but replacing the wow.exe file with one from a backup installation fixed it instantly.
