ye, old monolithic software is a huge pain in the butt to operate in reasonable manner. it is also a huge pain in the butt to refactor. so i can understand, to an extend, why it’s not fully possible/economically viable to implement modern high-availability concepts everywhere. but they don’t seem to be even trying. i mean, come on, this looked like the failure of auth servers - pretty much the easiest service to create a redundancy concept for.
What’s going on with the servers?
