WOW51900319 disconnections: Tried everything (clean installs, new PC, VPN) but still happening

Hello everyone,

I am having a persistent issue with error WOW51900319 that keeps disconnecting me from World of Warcraft. I would like to share the full history of what I tried, since support has not been helpful so far.

  • First, I tested all official suggestions: updated drivers/Windows, repaired game files, disabled addons, closed background apps, reduced graphics, etc.
  • I completely uninstalled WoW and Battle.net, deleted leftover folders, and reinstalled. The problem continued.
  • As a final step, I formatted my SSD, reinstalled Windows from scratch, installed only drivers and Battle.net, and tested again → disconnects still happened.
  • To rule out my PC, I tested WoW on another computer with a fresh installation. The exact same error occurred.
  • Using a VPN reduced disconnects but did not completely fix the issue.

This strongly suggests the problem is either on Blizzard’s servers, with routing in my region, or even account-related.

Unfortunately, I have already opened two support tickets (last one: EU100859518), but both were closed with automatic, copy-paste responses that ignored all the steps I already tried. It is extremely frustrating to pay for a subscription and receive no real help.

I am posting here to ask:

  • Has anyone else experienced WOW51900319 under similar conditions (different PCs, clean installs, VPN tested)?
  • Can Blizzard staff escalate this issue instead of just closing my tickets with no solution?

Thanks in advance for any help, and I hope this gets proper attention.

I would like to ask something:

  • How do you connect to the router/modem - Wi-fi/cabel
  • Are you direct connect to the modem or the PC is behind a router
  • If there is a router did you port forward all the Blizzard related ports to your computer

Thanks for your reply!
I’m connected via Ethernet cable directly to my router (not Wi-Fi). I don’t use an additional modem or secondary router, just the one provided by my ISP.

Regarding port forwarding: I have not manually forwarded Blizzard’s ports on my router, since I wasn’t sure if that was necessary. Could connection drops like mine be caused by missing port forwarding rules? If so, do you recommend I configure them manually?

Port forward can help a lot if there r other devices on the modem/router. It can help but cannot hurt.

If disconnections happen in recent short period then it can cause by repairs in the ISP/electric system changing the route.
If this error is last for a long time then talk with your ISP, you will not handle it yourself.
