For those that dont like Overwolf to update their addons, Wowup is now updating from Cursefoge again. Just go to Wowup site and download it.

Great news but how is there some kind of agreement or licence, because i don’t want to swap then have to swap again in a month of so.

no its not up you have to give them access to your data…so its same as overwolf…(israeli firm) …

I use Curseforge standalone app and have zero issues. Wowup partnered with Wagio and that is when their issues started with Curseforge. So now they have a standalone app that works just with Curseforge. It shouldn’t be an issue again in the future.

So really it comes down to a matter of personal preference which you use. Overwolfs reputation has left some hesitating about their curseforge app.

OW might not be the most popular, but the standalone app indeed is a very good one @OP, I too can recommend it.

I didn’t hear about it. When it comes to my experience, Overwolf is comfy, so I’m wondering, is it worth to change it : )
