Faction specific queued would mean horde will have hour long + queues not only at peak times, but at any time of day. The q would be orders of maagnitude worse for them than it is now. Their would be riots and mass sub cancelions if they did that

But it is only bad because unbalanced realms.
How to fix, and such that’s another story.
But ppl should stop the qq about wpvp being bad. And address to blizzard that they have to do something about the servers in general.
Ur playing on a ded server, you dont get how bad thelag gets, or world servers crashing and world bosses litteraly despawning right before we kill them

I’m not here to debate anything related to any other matter than -
Ppl say wpvp is bad.
When the problem is unbalanced realms.
And that the realms are holding way more ppl than designed to.
So even as your telling me, but can’t see it.
It’s all about to MANY players in a single realm. + to unbalanced. So instead, work towards that goal instead of trying to debate into a whole other area.

Glad that wpvp works on your realm. Good for you it is balanced in numbers.
But tha complaints are not comming from balanced realms now are they? They are comming from realms that are 1 sided, where 1 faction are not allowed to play. Where 1 facion is so dominant in all zones, that you have to from a raid just to clear a path for a dungeon. Where you have to form a raid just to farm for mats etc. Where you can expect to have controll of an area for less than 30mins, untill the dominant faction have called for help (Yes they are THAT brave) wiping your raid out, forced you to leave the zone and not to enter it for the rest of the day.
Now add to this the many people who cant even level, because the dominant faction have controll of all leveling zones.
Everyone except two kinds of pleyers are aware of this situation on the majority of relams. First kind is you. Someone who lives under a rock.
The other kind are the diehard gankers from the dominant faction, who can’t see that it is a problem, that the other faction can’t even leave their major cities without getting ganked by raiding paries, and camped till he log out.
Because THAT is what people complain about. It is not wpvp on them realms. It is straight up genocide

I wish all of you pros and veterans gather up and create a server with your own rules and gameplay. It would be awesome for all you and us the casuals.
If you fail to realize the problems of classic (yes it has many flaws and problems) then you are blind.
In very small cases the honor system works as it should. In the majority there are ganging groups killing players before they even land from the FP and in most cases on many servers when the ratio is not balanced , it usually ends up in a massacre as in this phase numbers matter more than skill and coordination.

But if there’s 80 horde outside only/MC then surely there will be 80 alliance about? It’s not that hard to suss out… You only need enough to balance the people there fighting, not the whole server

Same thing again and again. People are not actually complaining about pvp.
They are complaining about it being completely unfair with the imbalance and in fact unplayable, jesus christ. On some servers there is literaly nothing you can do.
If the servers had 3K people then the imbalance wouldnt be this visible. With lets say 2200 horde and 900 ali there would still be places where you could level without being camped by a raid of 30.
And no this is NOT pvp. If you call this pvp in your world then i pity you and you never experienced a fair fight that lasted more than 1 global cd in this game. You could as well be killing boars in Elwynn forest and having the same amount of pvp out of it.
And again people are not complaining about being killed, they are complaining about being killed by 30 PEOPLE ALL THE TIME without any chance of doing anything.
If you are not playing on Stonespine or other extremely unbalanced servers then just dont talk. Just dont. You have no vote in this really and you have no idea what you are talking about.

We did the petition.
Now the casuals want classic to be drop in games like fortnite, bfa and so on.
We did the signup for years.
And blizzard, did even release it in nerfed version, for the casuals could try it too.
We accepted that. But now the majority are here - and continue the debate on pretty much. U want drop in stuff to avoid time-consuming stuff as corpse running.
Define “we”
Also i don’t see any “private pro elite veteran server” just normal ones.
So please gather up ,make a forum ,sign in and all move to a specific server that only you will be able to join.

Stick to the actual problem.
Wpvp is great. If the server are balanced.
So ask for balanced realms.
Unfortunately that IF is what makes wpvp bad.
In very few cases this works well as i said.

Started on Vashj (=PvP server) back in vanilla, there was a little ganking and camping but getting into BRD f/i was near impossible at prime time. (migrated to a pve server during TBC)
I pvp’d my “behind”(profanity filter) off through ganking or BGs, nearly made it to rank 9, still wearing the rank 8 title, i was pvper in every aspect.
But i stuck with WoW, paid my sub, didn’t go pservers, i went on a pve server this time because i knew it was going to get bad which seeing the posts here clearly has become reality. I somewhat agree when ppl say, you should have known and foreseen it, now go reroll pve server w/e.
I do however despise the constant rant against “retailers” and “bfa’ers”, it was sub-, shop- and new xpack-money that paid for the oh-so wanted classic servers.
Enjoy the game itself instead of finding joy in trying to polarize ppl you think belong to a certain group.
I know i like playing classic so can you.
