Can we get rid of 415 azerite gear with 3 traits as WQ rewards? I do wqs on my alts only when they reward blue NON AZERITE gear. I dont know why would anyone farm and use azerite gear with 3 traits if you can run m0 with literally zero gear and get 430 azerite pieces.

well, its nice to get some starting gear when you re fresh 120 so you dont have to rely on dungeons to drop something.

I read it as not removing but rather buffing.
Give them the full rows even if blue, or make the 400-415 ones epic too, because the blue Azerite pieces are p much unusably bad.

You can literally clear m0 dungeons by hitting keyboard with your forehead and get 430 azerite with 5 rows. Azerite world quests are garbo
They’re just meant as stepping stones, not end game rewards. Not everyone wants to do mythic to get better either.
Changing/buffing them sure that be a better solution but you didn’t offer it. Stupid threads deserve stupid replies so that works out just fine.

You are wrong. M0 430 ilvl azerite is a stepping stone at this stage of expansion. Then you can get 445 azerite from emissary as another stepping stone and if you’re casual player 445 ilvl is probably enough but 415 blue azerite is pure garbage and nothing else.
I get what OP is on about… even Benthic Azerite 415’s - from before 8.3 hit - are better than 8.3 WQ/Emissary blue Azerite pieces.
They are useful for brand new alts and no, you cannot enter a mythic 0 dungeon with just your heirlooms. Also you can target exactly the slot you need.
So keeping them is a good idea, in my opinion.

I cant see anyone really using 3tier azerite pieces this late into the expansion. They are so incredibly weak its insane and its not difficult to get Better pieces. 415 item lvl is also very poor at this point.
Its not a stepping stone either , its more of an anchor holding you back.
I’m not saying they’re very useful but they do serve some purpose, be it just that quick ilvl boost and/or starter piece to get you going.
No clue why Blizz decided to make them only 3 ring though.

I dont know what are you on about. If they removed azerite from WQ rewards you’d get more belts, boots etc. These items would be still a quick ilvl boost with a chance of being corrupted.
The fact they’re three ring is the issue. Benthic pieces at 400ilevel which are easy to obtain are probably superior due to the sheer power of azerite traits which makes them a bit oooof. The ilevel might be useful for queuing for stuff but the extra rings will make more of a difference generally, especially for classes that get a significant amount of power from their traits.
Also if you get a WQ one with a meh trait (my shoulders) no fallback to mitigate the meh factor. Only hanging onto mine because next week they’re the first slot I’m upgrading to 460 with my TR. May as well save my pearls for the mount as I don’t have it yet.
theyre obviously there for people who dont want to do mythics and havnt yet been to nazjatar and thus cant get any others around that level
but ok lets remove them because YOU cant see their purpose
unlocking nazjatar takes a while and why bother with it for ppl returning and/or using a boost

You get a set of 390 ilvl items when you use a boost so you can easily go straight into m0. They have no purpose or just a really tiny one which you and the other guy defend for some weird reason lmao.
I agree for people who quit and return, they have value. For Alts though, naz takes 5 mins to unlock and you get enough pearls to upgrade 2 az pieces to 400 within the first day, and the third on the second easily.

They actually don’t, a 370 with 4 rings is better than the 415 blue ones. There is no reason to have these in game anymore when lower ilvl ones come with 4 rings.

If you dont want to run m0 which takes literally 8 minutes to finish it is your problem. 415 azerite with 3 tiers is useless.
