My Hunter on Wrath, Euro Realm Mirage Raceway, has had a persistent bug that has become increasingly frequent, and very frustrating. It started when the Wrath pre-patch went live. They are constantly being told they cannot do things, such as attack or use abilities, because they are pacified. I cannot find any way to stop this happening, and I have tried some of the fixes I found searching the internet - nothing seems to work. I tried to report this as a bug in game using the support system, but there’s no apparent way to do so, it simply asks me to select from a range of pre-made options. There is no option for anything like what I am experiencing.
How on Azeroth can I get rid of this bug? It’s driving me nuts, and when doing group stuff, is obviously impacting what I can contribute.
This sounds like the character may have an invisible debuff stuck on them, possibly from an event they took part in. Usually such effects automatically clear our once the related zone is exited, but if that isn’t the case a quick leap off a suitably steep cliff to kill the character, or entering a PvP battleground/arena, is often enough to get the job done.
If that won’t suffice either, please send a ticket within the game - it may take a little while to solve this, but there is a very high chance this will be fixable in relatively short order.
I have done many PVP BGs since this started, and died a fair few times as a result, without it clearing. I have tried to raise a ticket in game, but whenever I use the support system, I get repeatedly directed to a series of pre-defined common problems to report, none of which are relevant to my issue. I triedraising a query through the Contact Support section of the website instead. This was also no use at all. The only options listed for character problems are: Character Undelete, Restore profession, Stuck Character, Name in use, Appeal name change. There seems to be no way to raise a ticket on any other issue, or enter a free text request in a ticket. How can I raise a ticket for this issue? I see no way to do so!
