Wrath is bleeding out players like crazy, time to open up cross server raids

Even more will quit if nothing will be done as even big servers struggle with people.

Season of Dads just started. Plus 30 percent BUFF is not active yet

Just be in a static Discord PuG or guild.

You won’t notice other players ever and i am on a very small horde pop server.

What he sees as negative i see as chance  managed to pug last night 11/12 25 hc with lk hc attempts down to 30 percent.

Discord pugging is actually surprisingly effective in wolk classic - so much more then in retail .

I don’t think cross realm raids will help much.

Merge servers instead?

I dont see the point in having 10 servers that are struggling. Just merge the pvp servers together, and the normal servers together. And it should fix some problems.

(obviously merge the pvp servers with pvp, and normal with normal)

They did it with Era but wrath populations are higher (I think) and Cataclysm is coming so people will probably come back and the queues connected realms will make if they do that will annoy lots of players.

The problem is that people on small servers with 3-4.000 raiders, have a difficult time forming or finding viable pugs to clear content and many are stuck in guilds with toxic environments or going nowhere.

Larger servers allow people to have more opportunities to raid or a larger choice of guilds that would provide a better gaming experience.

Generally, servers should not have fewer than 10k people per faction imho.

merging servers wont fix the most important issue is that nobody wants to do anything below 25 hc 10/12 runs atm . because why would they with 25 % nerf

as was back in the day too.

its normal - the guilds which you refer too were always nothing else but "feeder " guilds /discord pugs for better progressed ones.

this was true 15 years ago and is now.

efficient progression as raider was always joining guilds getting some loot and then jumping ships . y staying to long in guild if you dont really like the level you raid on was always a waste of time if you focused on progress.

better to be worst player in much better guild then top player in weak one.

These problems are more pronounced in small servers with a very small number of viable guilds. It hurts the player experience.

PUGs are often more toxic, less tolerant to each other and counterproductive in terms of personal progression as you need to roll among new people each week in SR or MS/OS. GDKPs stand a bit in between these PUGs and guilds, however it doesn’t make raiding there less toxic, when everyone tries to deprive you of your pot cut via ruining your logs by not releasing you from spikes, or other similar mechanics.

My argument is not being able to pug or do gdkps rather than being in a toxic guild. My argument is that larger servers mean more choice for guilds.

Generally, I see no major differences in levels of toxicity between guilds, pugs and gdkps. That’s just my experience.

strange - the pugs i see are very tolerant during runs.

weeding outcomes usualy before runs starts when people check logs to ensure they dont bring in bad players.

as for SR - its always rolling against people - doesnt matter new or old ones - as bis gear is usualy shared between many classes - which means very many people SR the same stuff - even in very geared groups.

you would have to be part of 12/12 hc 25 man groups to see it in less degree - but even there things like saurfang trinekt / tier marks etc have multople people doing multi SRs when they hunt those last bis pieces

so it doesnt matter if you roll against 10 people in weaker groups or against 4 people with 3-4x SR in good groups - either way you have to roll either 99 or 100 to get them most of times.

and even then there is time when that 1 lucky person does 1 SR and rolls 100 - like i did last week with tiertoken on hc sindy - imidiately got offers in whispers to sell it for 20k+ gold because thats how desperate are even really good players for those last few pieces of bis

gearing in non loot council - no dkp groups is and always was a nightmare. - thats why epopel in retail love m+ so much .

imo its a mistake that blizz didnt go firther in wolk classic with frost empblems and didnt put much more gear onvendors .

I don’t think we can’t expect any QoL updates at all, any features have to wait for the next wotlk rererelease, the goal is to make gameplay stale and help players to move to Cata or other versions of the game
and this is good thing because PVE content is cleared and rated pvp content is absolute scripted garbage
the only sad thing I see is that my cool awesome guild members will just quit before Cata launch

I don’t think there will ever be another wotlk release. WOTLK died way too fast for them to even care about re-opening it. The expansion has little to no content and the raids are quite easy. What’s even appealing about wrath?

Why most private servers are on Wrath?
SoM died even faster but they still made SoD.

No reason to play Wrath. Cata is coming.

dude… duuude… exact same thing could be said about all classic (vanilla, tbc, wrath, cata and even mop) raiding content

Probably because at that time when wrath was over, privates got somehow stable core +wrath was end of wc3 story+ nostalgia bs for lots.
I wonder what people want to do on wotlk era realms ? Gear twinks in few weeks to bis and park em in dalaran and never ever log again ?
