The supposed end of 2022 is already cutting it too fine for Wrath to release imo.
How long does an expansion need to exist before it drags on too long? In my opinion the lenght of Vanilla Classic was perfect. Why of why doesn’t get tbc, the most glorious of Classic expansions (subjective ofc) get the same treatment?
With the way it’s looking we’ll only get TBC for LESS than one YEAR AND A HALF.
And that’s with a wrath release around Sept or October.
You think that’s fair for people that looked forward to Classic TBC for so long?
Is blizz this greedy? Yeah go ahead, zerg the expansions out so that people buy the boosts. Just don’t complain when Wrath will only last you a year before hearing ‘hype’ for cata.
Quarterly reports are the only thing that is of relevance. WoW is a game made specifically for shareholders. If any decision actually benefits the playerbase, that is entirely coincidental and by no means intended.
private servers have about as much open pvp as classic, so virtually none. People just want to play the game in peace.
Maybe it’s too short I dunno, I barely played.
We don’t know the future though.
There’s the possibility that after Wrath, the interest will turn back to classic Vanilla and then back to TBC.
I mean I think there’s a good chance that in 10 years time, I’ll want to do vanilla again.
Because blizzard sees alot of “wrath waiting room” stuff and wants to get it out as quick as possible. Might backfire though as its not that special afterall…
