I pick Wrathion.

‘The enemy you know’

I dont trust either of them. But we KNOW Wrathion, we know what he’s done. We know what to expect. A Dagger in the back

Sebellian is older, therefore he have right of succession. Why would anyone even consider Wrathion, it doesn’t make sense.

I think both of them are dragon. I respect the history and tales, the knowledge I learn is this:

NEVER TRUST ANY DRAGON.

I pick neither, I pretend to help them then let both dragons die.

Sabellian might be corrupted by the void still

Sabellian, here.
Wrathion cost us so bad extensions.

I have to make him pay.

Like Alexstrasza said, by being Deathwing’s henchman he earned no such right. It’s basically left to the black dragonflight to decide who would be their leader.

Dont forget Neltharion used void 20K before to get rid of Razageth… then another 10K years passed untill he finally gave in (tho’ who knows, maybe he was right considering the recent lore)
So “corrupted” not necesarily means bad boy (even if Seb is 10K+ years old at least) - and in theory we know Wrathion’s secret recipe we used to save Ebonhorn, so just vaccinate the retruned Black dragons to be sure, simple
(And at the end Neltharion became fully void, so after he died, probably landed in the Void realm and not the Shadowlands - like every void creature do, so probably if anyone he will be sent to whipser to their ears)

Plot twist! As these argue like the annoying things they are, Ebonhorn gets nominated to become aspect. He’s uncorrupted, old enough, wise enough, humble (something clearly both are missing) and has clearly been a leader of sorts his entire life. Finally he doesn’t seek power, which instantly makes him more trust worthy.

This is probably not going to happen, and I’m sure that blizz will set Wrathion up because he’s been there for ages (and has a custom model…)

I would still prefer Sebellian, I think he provides more interesting grounds for story telling.

Sebellian: very old character, dark past, seeks redemption, loads of friction with Alex.

Wrathion: explosive maverick, arrogant and thinks he can do better than anyone else.

What’s the obvious progressions here? I guess Wrathion will eventually wisen up a little and not be so arrogant. With Sebellian, we can learn a lot about what it feels being corrupted, we can explore guilt (better than Sylvanas’ arc…) and there will probably always be that uneasy anti-here vibe around him.

What actually is the Old God corruption?
Neltharion silently chafed at what he felt was a burden that had been inflicted on him; though he could command the entire weight of Azeroth itself, that same weight constantly pressed on his body every waking moment, the load making him feel suffocated to the point that he felt his very spirit unraveling. Neltharion believed that he must bear this burden alone, but ultimately found it to be too much, and began to resent the charge placed upon him. The belief that the titans viewed Azeroth as an experiment only fueled his bitterness - During his conversation with Thrall millennia later, he admitted that he served the Old Gods largely because he believed that they would free him from this burden
Then came the madness that destroyed Neltharion’s mind, changing him and his kind forever
The inner-voices of the Old Gods convinced Neltharion that he could have power beyond his imagination if he served them. The voices made him paranoid of even his own black dragonflight. Neltharion began to yearn for a world dominated by his black dragonflight — a world in which the other dragonflights ceased to exist and Ysera and Alexstrasza would be his petty slaves for mating.
The growing corruption in Neltharion’s heart warped his body, as the angelic dragon began taking a more demonic appearance, similar to how Sargeras changed to a more demonic form after his corruption. Neltharion’s body cracked open, revealing his molten heart, and magma and fire flowed off his chest. His eyes became aflame in red, demonstrating the magnitude of his power and the depths of his evil.

The black dragonflight was charged by the titan Khaz’goroth with warding the earth and protecting the various deep places of the world; granting them power over the earth
They shaped the lands, raised mountains, and created valleys. The black dragonflight represented the strength of the earth itself.
After being corrupted, the black dragons did the opposite of their mission; sowing discord and chaos
Having been driven mad by the whispers in their heads, they sought dominion of Azeroth and considered all other flights to be hated enemies.

So, okay, madness… but this is a very broad term.
It is not magical curse, not like the Curse of Flesh; whispers and influence, to act according to the will of the Old Gods
The premsie: becasue of their connection to the Earth (and Azeroth?) they are more susceptible to the Old God’s whispers and powers because they dug deep with their tentacles and later were imprisoned underground.
The weight of the duty and the 0-24 whispers eventually were too much and they become mad. Insane. Evil even.
This last part is a bit strange… became evil, born evil, twisted alignment from good to bad and were afraid (as we learned from the diary of Distyia amd from Veritistrasz)

Veritistrasz says: I had many friends in that dragonflight, some as close as clutch mates. Heh, growing up we used to play pranks on the elders.
Veritistrasz says: I remember one time we coated Alexstrasza’s tail in honey while she slept and … ah… what does it matter.
Veritistrasz says: My best friend was of the black dragonflight, we intermingled a lot, back in those days… Not like now, where most flights keep to themselves.
Veritistrasz says: Isn’t it funny? I can’t remember her name. I can remember her face, I can remember how the light bounced off her beautiful scales, but I can’t remember her name.
Veritistrasz says: I can remember the horror when I came home to find her standing over the bodies of my family, practically her family.
Veritistrasz says: I can remember the gut wrenching despair as I plunged my claw into her throat, and I remember the hate in her eyes as the light went out in them… But I can’t remember her name.
Veritistrasz says: I always wondered, if I had been a better friend, could I have prevented it? Did she not feel like she could come to me as she felt the corruption starting?
Veritistrasz says: Ebyssian was cleansed, there must have been something I could have done? But she didn’t come to me, must have felt she couldn’t talk to me about it.
Veritistrasz says: If I was a better friend… if I had told her… Oh Titans, if I had told her how I felt… Could it have gone differently?.. I loved her… And I can’t remember her name.

So… this is interesting (and sad)
Whispers, madness, then finally they gave up to surender to insanity
But madness and insanity itself is not something magical and we seen they could be cured/cleansed and protected from the relapse

More importantly, we tend to forget, the Titan-forged are are prone to fall in to madness, like Loken and the others
They called Titan Forged becasue they were made
Under the guidance of the great forger Khaz’goroth, the Pantheon crafted an army of enormous servants from the crust of Azeroth itself: the aesir and the vanir. The aesir were fashioned from metal, and they would command the powers of storms. The vanir were formed from stone, and they would hold sway over the earth. The members of the Pantheon then imbued a number of their servants with specific likenesses and powers to lead the rest of the titan-forged. These empowered beings were called the Keepers. Collectively, these mighty creatures would be known as the titan-forged.
This new army molded from the world’s crust was then sent to war.

So if the Black dragons were “easy” to corrupt, becasue of their connection to the earth, what hopes Azeroth other inhabitants have?
I mean the Gnomes were Mechagnomes - Titan-froged creations
The Dwarves were Earthen - Titan-forged creations
The Humans were Vrykul - Titan-forged creations
Their ancestros were made from the crust of Azeroth herself… and been afflicted by the Curse of Flesh
If anyone THEY should be MORE susceptible to the Old Gods than the poor Black Dragons

I don’t think Sabellian and the others could be written off as “oh, they are corruped, probbably evil” because following that logic there is not a living thing on Azeroth that are not susceptible to the Old Gods and potentially “corrupt”

Because Wrathion is really trying his best while Sebellian looks all shady and scheming (remember, he didn’t tell Wrathion about the eggs and they weren’t in the crates and it was all a bluff for both the enemies and to make Wrathion look bad).

I feel like whilst Ebonhorn would be the best candidate he very clearly doesnt want the job!

and I still feel like Sabellion is up to no good…

Cool input

Oh absolutely, I think that same point is what makes him more interesting, more potential for interesting story telling, character relationships, politics etc. Unlike mr harem over there who seems more like some sort assassin/pimp leader!

Wrathion the snake has bet on garrosh and then switched back to anduin the moment garrosh lost just to release him from prison after and cause an orc and afterwards a legion invasion just to pretend later that he is a good boy and come crawling back to anduin.
Sabelian just wanted to kill gronns and even helped you with it, just being a good guy doing his own stuff.
Did sabelian cause multiple wars on azeroth? No
Did he bring legion upon azeroth and caused indirectly countless of deaths? No.
He just chilled in outland doing his own stuff.
Unlike wrathion he isnt a war criminal.
