Wrathion or Sabellian

Yeah, yeah, another one cringe topic of this at this point old question. But, it’s still fun.

Who do you support and why?

I personally, Sabellian. Never liked Wrathion and honestly think he’s one of the worst Blizzard characters (even by recent WoW standards). Having no character at all is better.

i support both, but if i have to pick 1 that must be Wrathion, for 2 simple reasons:

  1. He helped us in the past giving us Cloacks with weird powers.
  2. Sabellian Seems to be “Uncorrupted” but i have a suspicion on him that he might be under the void whispers right now.

thought, i think Ebonhorn could be a good candidate for the Black Dragonflight’s new aspect.

Sabellian.

Wrathion has agenda’s. And people with Agenda’s are often dangerous.

Sabellian all the way.
Wrathions actions led to death of Garrosh , he must pay for that.

Sabellian views his task as his duty, does what he needs to do, and seems very grounded. He also saved his kind in outlands from doom.

Wrathion thinks this task is his destiny, his birth right, and he seems very arrogant and childish. Sure, he helped us in azeroth, but his ego is just a ticking time bomb.

I’m gonna go with Sabellian.

Definitely Sabellian, Wrathion has caused too much pain and suffering on Azeroth and Draenor to prove that he only views the mortal races as toys to play with, and even break at will. He’s a hair’s breadth away from being a raid boss, basically.

Sabellian is experienced, and committed to serving his flight. No fancy villainesque shenanigans, just a straighforward leader. However, he hasn’t fought off the corruption himself, with him being on Outland at that time. I can already see him being corrupted.

As a result, there can only be one true aspect for the black dragonflight - good old Ebyssian!

As a character I like Wrathion more but he can’t really be trusted.

So going with Sabellian.

How could you possibly say this as a panda

They both have good points, and bad points. I landed on Wrathion because there were features about Sabellian that I liked less than Wrathion’s bad sides. Sabellian feels more locked in place than Wrathion, in my opinion.

sabellian.

Sabellian is the only logical choice for me.

Alexstrasza was pretty clear how unwelcome Sabellian was. To be honest neither of them appeal, they both seem to suffer from terrible traits.

what about Ebonhorne?
what if he was a choice too?

I’d go with Sabellian but I really don’t care that much either way. What’s important to me though is that both stay in the black flight. They both are interesting characters with a lot to offer.

…and the black flight doesn’t have many established characters, let alone interesting ones. And it’s worth noting also that Sabellian’s brood seem to be the only black flight members starting to be built up a bit: Osoria, Vazalia, Blazikan too I think.

I’m not counting Wrathion’s Black Talon members - they aren’t dragonkin. Just dragon followers.

To me, Sabellian’s brood feels more like the real black flight members right now.

Sabellian was chill back in TBC.

Wrathion gave us WoD, which eventually led to the release of N’Zoth… And the death of Vol’Jin which gave us questionably written sylvanas and mr nipples.

It depends

If i fly towards the throne coming from the right side i vote wrathion
Otherwise i vote Sabellian
