I can’t be the only one to think that this doesn’t fix anything at all?
I was so looking forward to this trinket, and I was so happy to get it. Only to realize what a pain in the bottom it is to play with. A slow fall effect can be good and bad (mostly bad), I’m fine with that being a potential negative on this trinket. The levitate effect? The levitate effect also triggering back-to-back. Not only is it totally unnecessary, it was also totally unexpected. And it is also super distracting as it moves my camera to reflect my new ‘elevated’ position.
I am speaking from a tank perspective here. Where to keep the camera is already a struggle, try seeing anything in Waycrest or Tol Dagor as a cow. Now try it in Avatar while levitating. Might as well play in first person.
And what does Blizzard to do to ‘fix’ this trinket? Just use a Neural Silencer, there’s no downsides (:

No Tricks
No Misdirection

Now if anyone enjoys the levitate, please let me know. I’m not here to bash you, I’m interested in opposing views. I’m likely to end up scrapping this trinket as soon as I get something almost as good anyway. (Even though I love the wings.) I’m not here to take your levitation away.
they literally fixed your issue just use the stupid item and you no longer levitate how hard is that? time it wouldve taken you to buy some of those off the AH is much lower than the time it took you to whine on the forums about an already solved problem
the levitating is fun and unique and gj to the devs for not ruining it (YET)
WELL I DIDNT KNOW IT STOPS GRIPS ETC. if that’s the case then thats’ unfortunate and all I can say in that scenario is l2p with a small levitate effect it’s not that hard
You do realise he’s complaining that as a tank you cannot use the trinket because it screws you so much and if you use the “Blizzard fix” you screw missdirection and tricks which always go on the tank?

I think the fix is pretty shi* for tanks op for the dps and healers yeah only grips are the only thing that won’t work but for tanks it’s pretty pivotal to be md’ed.
As a healer who is guilty of tunnel vision, I actually find the levitate useful! Because I’m generally focussed on the raid frames, the bump up of the camera lets me know that the trinket had procced. This is, of course, only useful to me because my peripheral vision is terrible and I am useless at noticing my surrounding. So I understand that others probably don’t feel the same way! My husband is a tank and has the same trinket and I haven’t heard any complaints from him. Mind you, we haven’t done any instances with tight spaces and camera angles so can’t comment on that aspect.
wow oh no you’re gonna have to move your mouse for a milisecond to adjust your camera in two dungeons in the entire game it indeed screws tanks so much! it screwed me too in a bg got pushed back and because of levitate I flew 91259315913 km away rather than a few meters and get back to the fight immediately when I had just popped all CDs… did I go on the forums to whine about it? no I just !#(%(!# deal with it and from now on am aware that this can happen I don’t get people there’s so many more issues the game has that people should be talking about and this levitate thing which again is unique to have on a trinket IS DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THEM
You do realise the problem here is that blizzard acknowledged the fact that the trinket has to have a way to stop the levitating stuff but they did the worst fix of all times thus making it almost useless to use the fix? When they could’ve just let you be an on off effect of the trinket if you wanted or not.
of course buddy they should totally just script an entire NPC and put it in the chamber of the heart*for this ONE ITEM in the entire *#(%! game just because people find it hard to adjust to something so simple

Or read what i said but it seems you can only complain,they could make the trinket have an on/off effect since it’s a proc trinket anyway so it can have an active that let’s you swap levitate on/off. But yeah actually giving input and not trolling is hard sorry i forgot you can’t talk in a civilised manner.
of course they should, but the thing with blizzard is when there is an easier way out (which would be to just remove the levitate altogether) they would pick that instead and when they see someone whining about it… they might actually do it
yes I agree that they should put an option why the *#!% not I want options I miss my UI options too they removed during Legion, but they always just straight up remove stuff like that and if I were to choose between tauren tanks having to adjust their cameras for 1 milisecond or having this unique levitate on some trinket you’ll all forget in a few months I’d choose the first one any day
