Wrong-armor type heirlooms question

So, will leather heirlooms’ xp bonus work when a hunter or warrior wears it?

yes ofc

Thank you… a little bit more armor isn’t worth sinking gold into high level heirlooms :stuck_out_tongue:
Well, agi leather heirlooms won’t make sense on warr, but sham/hunt… I plan levelling hunter :stuck_out_tongue:

yup  if u have them to 120 even better :stuck_out_tongue:

Xp bonus works no matter the class. You just won’t get plate specialization bonus to Strength from level 50.

well, in the end, I can always just equip them when handing in the quests ^^

One can save the investment of upgrading chest, head and shoulders to 120 since heirloom stats suck compared to azerite gear.
They seem to only make sense for quest turn-ins.

You still kill everything in 2-3 attacks with heirlooms on xD

Not really. Heirlooms have been nerfed, and from my own leveling experience adding mobs was always scary. (And that was on feral which is usually quite survivable.)
Stuff only felt like you describe once I got full benthic.

it’s better to invest in cloth looms than say, leather looms since any class can wear cloth.

I’m now levelling a DH… everything dies easily even with heirlooms instead of azerite… :stuck_out_tongue: well DH is OP af

dont upgrade heirlooms untill we know what blizzfailvision does with the new leveling in 1-50 shadowlands…

Too late for some! I’ve upgraded armor sets (Mail/plate/cloth/leather), weapons, shields, trinkets and ring heirlooms to 120. I’m expecting some major loss there XD

only updated cloth myself as i have 15/30 clothies at 120

I have had warrior tanks in full cloth looms. It’s a very comical site but they didn’t want to fork out for all the armour specific sets.

I’ve seen hunters running about like that, kind of fun to see other classes running about dressed up like warlocks.

I hate seeing that it really sets off my ocd.

As long you can equip it, you will still get the exp.
The only thing that makes it different is that you wont be able to mog things outside of mail if youre a hunter, plate if youre a warrior.

The only decent thing would be to let them work until 60. I mean, come on, if people invested the extreme costs of the last upgrade step, what loss is it for Blizzard to allow people that leveling boost in Shadowlands? After all, even Legion had already been designed with level scaling, so no matter when you hit level cap, you’d just keep questing if you like. And if Blizzard thinks that additional gates have to be implemented so that stuff doesn’t unlock simply by reaching level 60, they can just do that, like before.
