Dude, the email is just automation and a clever cheap/easy marketing tool. A bit like “did you forget something?” emails when you leave items in your basket on some shop website.
I’m not flaming you here but being triggered by an email like that enough to come to the forum (where…and I mean, this in the nicest way…no one gives an F) and create a post venting about it should cause you more concern. The only thing that will come from this post is people using it as an opportunity to put you down. It might seem like I’m doing that but I’m not, I’m just being blunt.
Look I do get that many deaths are unfair and bs but with HC you are going to die, hopefully you had some fun before you did…that’s what its all about.
Reality is the players don’t care, Blizzard doesn’t care. The fact that you “care” about that email…is what you should care about. You get me?

I´m not a fan of blizzard, but it´d be hilarious if they sent you another mail with “LOL. U dead noob”, just because this thread is so dumb^^

Hardcore is not for everyone, the power of the game is the way you have to play, you can’t semi afk like in regular wow, that adds a dimension that not everyone enjoys. The loss of a character is painfull but you play hardcore for the voyage, not the destination, because the destination is either death or a life in org/sw. First thing I did in anniversary normal was jump down the elevator in uc and die :). I can enjoy both styles but now I have to be carefull I don’t mix up which version I’m playing lol
TBH the way many players these days act, I would probably just view that as them adapting to their playerbase’ preferred way of communicating… “HAHA, Got Rekt, didja? Wanna try again, scrub?”
HC has now been a thing officially since August 2023. Unofficially a least since 2012. I think it is here to stay.

Aye, People were already doing teh “play until I die then Reroll” thing all the way back in TBC, same goes for Ironman leveling. It just became so popular on classic Era that Blizzard decided that they might as well put up some dedicated Realms for it is all.
Even if you took those down HC would still exist, it just wouldn´t be yet another “version” that people feel compelled to play
