WSG Exalted

So I read that when you hit exalted with WSG that you can’t even see the bracers or other gear. Is this true & can you buy the Tabard?

You can buy the tabard, you don’t see the bracers.

Right so they’re most likely not going to be added until later phases when the epic PvP set becomes available.

You cant get exalted. It stops at revered. You cant get rep after that.

False, you can grind to exalted through WSG, if you are masochistic.

Or alliance tho i dident know. Thanks for clearifying.

anytime

Completely pointless rushing grinding exalted now though because the epic items are most likely not even going to be out until like BWL lol. By which time they’ll have probably changed Ashenvale event to give rep all the way to Exalted.

Gz to the toxic wow classic playerbase for complelty destroying another aspect of the game with the ridiculous amount pug farming that’s going on just because 90% of them think they’re getting a pair of shiny epic bracers at 40 rofl.

I swear I’ve never came across a community quite like the one that plays classic. They completely cannibalize all aspects of the game for their own selfish reasons at the expense of the actual game they claim to love.

Jesus what a victim mentality if ever there were one. Ever stop to consider that maybe people are just grouping up together to get their rewards at a quicker pace, and that there’s nothing inherently toxic about that whatsoever? Comedian you, lad!

What rewards? Most people think they’re getting something at 40 that’s why they’re rushing the grind before phase 2. It’s pretty apparent that most people who advocate for not separating the queues don’t actually want to PvP against other premades because they just want the rep items. Nothing to do with being social or for the enjoyment of PvP.

I know you’re one of them I’ve seen you defending premade v pug stomping time and time again on the forums.

It’s pretty apparent that most people who advocate for a solo queue don’t actually want to PvP against organised opposition because they just want easy rep akin to Ashenvale until Revered.

I sit in a premade for WSG exalted. Not because I enjoy it, but because I want exalted. I have the feeling that most people do it this way.

If Blizzard allowed me to get exalted thru the event ? Id not be doing WSG in a premade.

Nah not really. Real pvpers actually enjoy premade v premade. It’s basically the only competitive PvP scene in the game. Now that I’m 95% sure they won’t add these rep items until like BWL there’s literally zero reason for people who don’t want to premade to be subjected to playing 8 straight games v 4-5 Hunters and 3 Priests in WSG.

Some people just want to play solo which is fine. Some people don’t have time for premades. If the premade situation was like it was in original classic it wouldn’t be an issue because 80% of the time you faced pugs as a solo player. It’s not it’s easily the opposite and you actually face premades 70-80% of the time in SOD because people think they’re getting something at lvl 40.

I play & enjoy both premade and solo, when I’m actually matched premade v premade or pug v pug. I enjoy PvP and I’m actually glad they are drip feeding ranks and rep items because it should mean that we don’t have to bust our arses grinding in BGs forever and we can actually enjoy the game.

All that I really get from people defending against separate queues is that most of the people are doing it for rep and they actually don’t want to face other premades. They’re happy and content at farming pugs thinking they’re good at the game. No reason not to separate queues at this point. As people have pointed out before maybe add an incentive, but this should purely be some cosmetic imo. A Tabard or mount or something. New faction rep for premade only queues. Basically something to show that you do it for the enjoyment of engaging in actual PvP and not just GY farming randoms all day.

We can agree on that, at least, though I do feel increased honor/rep would be necessary, too/in place of cosmetics.

Yes that might also need to be a requirement at some point if it ever does happen. It would probably be better for the longevity of the PvP scene in SOD because I feel AV is going to be the most optimum way of farming honor when it comes at lvl 50. I think everyone knows what that means. Both teams bypassing all PvP and boss rush game after game.

It is absolutely inherently toxic, you are farming people that have no legit way to fight back. Like stomping grade schooler kids in basketball as a grown up. Low class behaviour and cringe.

People just want to enjoy some games that you are so hellbent on ruining for the sake of “quicker rep” or I don’t even know what your point is.
Game is supposed to be fun first and foremost, but you are only looking at it from a rep grinding retail andy perspective.

Most WSGs are not full premades. In my xp 1 in 10-20+ are. And even then they are not good. People just wanna finish exalted. Simple as. You need around 110 wins to get exalted from rev. No one wants to sit any more than that. Especially if you dont do premades you will end up doing 300+

Then I must be noone because I just qued 4 games today even though I’m exalted already and 3 was vs premades which can’t even be called a game.

It isn’t toxic, though, and you do have a legit way to fight back - you just choose not to use it.

Again, for those at the back: playing as a group in a group-based game to maximise earnings/rewards per hour is not toxic - it’s smart.

You are special for sure. Id like nothing more than to have another way to hit exalted. But going solo que is not something im willing to do. Its already a massive loss of time.

On top its a BG that Blizzard refuses to fix. Endless terrain exploits. A good FC with 2 ppl just peeling can stall a game endlessly. Most of the playerbase that does not FC dont know all the mobility tricks.

Id like nothing more than Blizzard making a 3 way que, full random, par premade, and full premade. But I dont see it happening.
