Some times there are nearly 10 WTS to filter through.
People that buy them will find them. To the rest of us that dont they are an annoyance. Let me filter them please. It goes against the spirit of the game to “buy” your power.
They caved in on essences cos of the fear of power being given but have not problems letting people buy power with real money.
there is an addon called Badboy, this is such a filter, though you have to type in more than just WTS/WTB because those advertisers change the advertisement all the time for some reason…
I really don’t understand, why they change the advertisement… yes, people use addons like that, and they won’t read your advertisement, however, they DON’T WANT TO so they will never be customers… so no reason to change the ad
There’s also an addon called “global ignore list and chat spam filter” it allows you to filter out specific words, phrases and even servers if you so wish. i use it and highly recommend it to stop the spam.

Also probably not as useful but some cobsider it an option:
You can filter out /2 from your chatbox in-game by rightclicking the chat tab, or create your own tab with chat from areas you want to hear.
Also if you are not savvy on addons there is a really simple way via Twitch app(mod tab), it’s one click download/installations and also to update addons, which you may do daily with stuff like rio, it is really handy, before I would waste much more time getting my addons sorted.
