I was able to complain about Legion’s ability pruning months in advance and I was correct, it made PvP worse.
Pretty much everybody was complaining about BFA adding a GCD to every ability in advance as well.
Because when we complained about SL in beta they totally didn’t ingore all our complaints and released specs in broken state exactly as people predicted it yes?
As far as i can tell, in both pve and pvp alot of classes and speccs are looking pretty damn overpowered DH is not alone in that court.
A large issue is as u stated.
Alot of the abilities and things classes have got so far, has been largely based on the fact we can only pick one of 3 of 6 rows, now we are seeing classes being able to stack things which are balanced around only having 1. Not all 3.
Its likely things will take some severe number tuning etc etc later on, however i think blizzards focused on gameplay. And rightly so.
Id rather see some things be broken on launch, rather then seeing gameplay go to the gutter, the improvements the talent system and more bring from a enjoyability point of view are vastly massive realistically.
But yeah theres reports of quite alot of one shotting and dungeons getting flattened in seconds so far.
DH is a starting at a incredibly low point, it has suffered all of SL for it, so tbh unless ur in the beta, i dont think critising “power increases” is that valid realistically.
Numbers arent finalised. Nerfs are rolling out. And its not a doable feat to simply read patch notes and know exactly the outcome.
What looks massive on paper, doesnt always line up with what happens.
WoDs fire mage and fury warrior come to mind. When they were OP in prepatch and got nerfed too early to then both absolutely suck on WoD launch
