I have done that to myself by hitting ‘Play’ and opening a second wow which logs me out of the first.

If you’ve not done this I would change your password.

Just in case the worst happened I found this info

MVPs aren’t Blizzard staff. If you need help you have to contact support directly and they can look into it, this isn’t something Blizzard support staff on the forum can help you with, they’d need to see what happened if you had been hacked. Even if nothing is missing, if you want to you can still contact them so they can check if there was an access from a different location.

It’s highly unlikely your account was compromised if you have an authenticator still enabled, however, unless you accepted an authenticator request for a login that wasn’t yours. I’ve seen people who got logged out due to the WoW companion app being logged in, as well.
For future reference, though, it’s best not to change the password right away if you suspect your account was compromised - making sure the computer and other devices you’ve used aren’t infected is the first thing to do.
