He’s too fond of Orcs for me to fully trust him and whilst I admittedly do not know how much of a hand he had in such matters, I am still bitterly displeased that characters such as Kael’thas and Lady Vashj were squandered and unceremoniously killed off.
I also worry that he may have grown bored of Orcs as well as the Horde and shifted over his love and attention to Anduin instead of Thrall.
Yes, if you think about it, why would the woman who has lived most of her life underground and is well-respected among her peers be knowledgable and skiled at living underground and defending it against the threats she’s faced on a daily basis? Is this just DEI woke nonsense? Everyone knows that it is much more realistic if Anduin (man therefore better) walks into the underground kingdom he knows nothing about and never knew existed and fixed everything immediately with the magical power of simply having balls.
The issue most people have with Faerin is that she’s stupid in her behaviour and pretty much never suffers the consequences of stupidity. That being said that’s a running theme with all the modern wow writing. None of the characters face consequences for their idiocy, which is why most of the characters are terrible and the side quests are much much better than the actual main story line.
You seem to be trapped in the poor idea that male characters being strong and capable characters, means that the female characters have to be ineffective and pointless. It’s not a zero sum game, one character doesn’t have to be destroyed to raise another, or at least it shouldn’t.
Too many people place hopes on Chris Metzen.
Blizzard entertainment is Woke. Equipped with DEI officers and everything. It filters through to the game.
The Horde lost the 4th war. They might lose the 5th. Still have to recover. The Nightborne have done nothing since getting Surumar back. Baine Bloodhoof has been mothered by Mayla Highmountain, The old Blood Elf Lorthemar does not really have the stomach for conflict, The Maghar have not recovered from getting their butts kicked by High Exarch Yrel, Without Trade Prince Gazlowe the Bilgewater Goblins have lost their heart, Talanji - well the Zandalari Trolls still need to recover after the Alliance taught them a lesson.
What is there really?
The Foraken and their desolate council?
The return of Warchief Thrall could be…interesting. The Darkspear without Voljin are hollow. Has Ji Firepaw forgiven or forgotten the savage beating he received by the Horde? He had to be rescued by the Alliance Pandaren if remember correctly.
In Mists of Pandaria High King Varian Wrynn chose not to dismantle the Horde.
In Battle for Azeroth the Alliance did not press the victory.
While the Horde are children murderers with a long history of doing so. The Alliance shows restraint and even mercy to the defeated Horde.
There is a peace treaty now. May the Horde control its agitators and keep the peace.
