Wth happened to my ui?

logged in this morning after doing the normal update check for addons.

UI was all over the place, resized modules and on my main my action bars were just…gone? like the bars there and just rejumbled gobbledegook.

And i mean like, call pet on the same bar 6 times kind of janked.

It just happened to me a few minutes ago. Also other thing i noticed, if i click on any of the secondary missions the gps-arrow or whatever is called on the minimap will tell me to go to the main mission. It will work if I disable all addons but that sucks

Same happened to me. After patch ui borked. Action bars in wrong place. And after every relog mess is back. Will Blizz even fix it?

UI scale looked different in character selection but otherwise couldnt see anything different in game. Every single addon is out of date however so might just give it some time.

My bars weren’t messed up but 2 abilities were removed from them for some reason, Flame Shock and Burrow.

When I log in bar 1, 3 and the petbar are stacked in the top left corner of the screen, just opening and closing the edit menu makes them pop back down again. If I log out and then back in again they’re back to the top corner. :upside_down_face:

Edit: All addons disabled btw… and it only happens on this hunter.

Please, do not give me this old, good and overused addons crap. Not addons.

They are right though, if this was a broken core feature, everyone would have been affected. And I for example had no issues with my UI when I logged in after the patch.
So something on your system clearly broke.

I can see that clearly something is broken but not on addons part.

Only difference I noticed was Flame Shock was gone from my Action Bar so I had to drag it from my spellbook again. A bit weird as it had been on that Action Bar for years.

Definitely not an addon issue.
I had this bar jumping as well and the only way to fix it was making sure what no bar overlapping takes place. And annoyingly if you have sticky bars enabled - they overlap by a pixel or so, which results in bars being out of place on next logon.
It’s a definitely a bug they introduced with recent update.

I think this is an addon issue, I have addons I’ve used for years that caused me no trouble logging in after the patch update.

And another white knight with “addon issues”. Its problem on Blizz part. Go and check technical support there is topic about this problem.

Nope, not an addons.
You can easily replicate it.
Enable action bars 6 and 7 for example, stack them together with “old” bars, put some spells on them and make them slightly overlap with other action bars or other objects like chat window/quest window/pet or stance bars.
Watch new bars starting to misbehave.

Read almost any of my other comments, where people call me a negative nelly more than anything else, and you’ll see I’m hardly a white knight.

Just that whenever I have any sort of UI issues, and I’ve had a fair few in my time playing wow, changing some addon fixed the problem.

We are talking nothing about your problems with addons but about particular problem with came with this brand new patch. it was established that particular this problem was caused not by addons but on dear Blizz part. I have fixed it with addons on. There is nothing more to say about your addons
