WW in desperate need of buffs in raid

the state of the class is horrible right now in the eternal palace. especially in mythic. i’m currently doing mythic progression as a windwalker and I have to play at the top of my game in order to be somewhat decent.

wowprogress. c o m/simdps look at the DPS of the other classes. windwalker is at the bottom barely pulling off 42k top simmed DPS while other classes are doing 50k easily. with the top sim of quite a handful of classes easily doing 55k. I ran some sims on my own and i’m currently sitting at 40700 DPS and simming myself with top gear, I will hit at max 43k.

My suggestion:

This class needs at least a 20% buff in single target DPS in PvE(which would bring us to 50k DPS) in order to be fairly decent with the other DPS classes.
Our cleave is fine/great so that we don’t need buffs in that department. So I’m thinking skills like blackout kick, rising sun kick and tiger palm could use A LOT of love.

Why are our already situational DPS CDs (touch of death and touch of karma) tied down to the max health? At the queen azshara fight, if I don’t time these 2 CDs with when I’m going to run off to do the mechanic where my max health is reduced by half, my single-target DPS is going to be even more rubbish than what it already is. Why is it so hard to tie down the max damage of these 2 abilities with damage-related stats instead?

And for crying out loud blizzard. it has been more than half a year since it has been reported that whirling dragon punch is bugged. I can’t even fully rely on it to be on demand because there are many times I have fists of fury and rising sun kick on cooldown on purpose to time whirling dragon punch with when I need to cleave, and I can’t even use it cause it is bugged.

I just want to know what’s going through blizzard’s head at this point when they buffed other classes for underperforming in eternal palace but somehow missed out the lowest DPS spec - windwalker…

The Azshara fight is a good point and I hadn’t even thought about it. Yes, why can’t our damage spells be related to our damage potential rather than our own base health pool?

I really think SEF needs a buff at all and the crit should scale from your own crit and not the randomness of your clones.

for example your damage is lower when you crit in SEF but your 2 clones aren’t than if you weren’t using SEF and critting. It’s literally the only one burst cd giving so many downsides in this game, and i think when you crit the 2 other clones also should crit. This already would make a long way and making crit probably a lot better stat overall.

I think the blackout kick nerfs are reflecting right now more with more gear than at the start of the season. as you can realize that the damage of blackout kick with better gear hardly goes up than it’s counterpart RSK and FoF.
