So guys i need some help for WW Monk how to use defensives etc. or anything useful macros.
Feel free to link yt videos I have big skill issues I was literally got obliterated in SS and I dont blame the game for it because I know that the failure is from my end and I dont want to make anyones games bad because of me.
Thx for the help and advices fellow Azerothians. :)))
Search in youtube for âThewyâ and âFaxxaxâ, they both have 10min PVP guides that should give you the basics, and are some of the best solo shuffle WW monks who create youtube content.
As for macros, there arenât any that will help you per se, unless you want to macro all defensive abilities in one button, which is not great.
The main thing with WW is:
have portal somewhere safe before pushing in to do damage
use defensives proactively (anticipate when they are going to stun you and act first)
For macros you basically need a arena 1 2 3 or Focus target Disarm and Incap
I personally use Focus although itâs more oldschool.
The other one would be to make a simple macro where you combine your Serenity with your On-use badge pvp trinket, and if youâre Orc, your racial as well
Offensive:
Try to prioritize non-plate targets (except DK, DK is a very good target for you always as they canât kite you very well).
Donât overchase targets. You can swap to the closest thing at any time as youâll get a new Keefer crit debuff on a new target and can do serious damage too. A cheese strategy in lower Shuffles is perma killing Resto Druids, as you can use Ring of peace to knock their tranquility and cancel it into killing them.
Best and good kill targets for a Windwalker are:
DK
Warlocks
Priests
Druids
Worst kill targets usually are:
Mages
Sub rogues
Paladins of any kind
For mages oftentimes you need to go on them anyway, but itâs a painful experience.
So what you want to do in Shuffle and 3s is:
Reach your target but donât Tigerâs palm him yet so you keep your keefer crit debuff
Incap healer (if youâre gonna kill DPS)
Faeline stomp your kill target
Leg sweep
Pop your Serenity self buff macro
Cycle through your big burst spells fast. I like to firstly use Strike of the windword into RSK into Fists into Whirling Dragon punch and then just cycle RSK > Fists and Blackout kicks
Remember to not spam the same DMG spells, as your mastery relies on cycling your spells. The only thing you really might press twice in a row is Tigerâs palm just to chase down a target
Defensive:
Always have a port behind some pillar and remember where the port is. This becomes a habit after time. If youâre the kill target, and the fight is being dragged too far from your port, take a moment to replace it to a nearby pillar
There are different takes on when you should use what defensive. Karma is the lowest CD defensive so it is good to use early, as long as you pay attention to your healer. If your healer is free, going for Dampen harm just to reduce the dmg you take may be better in some situations. Karma is better when your healer is CC-ed, as it is an absorb shield meaning you wonât die for the duration, in most cases.
If the game has a Sub rogue, and youâre the kill target, try to Karma someone else, as they usually remove it with cloak of Shadows. Same goes for Paladins with bop. To avoid getting your Karma cloaked or Bopped, consider using it on an offtarget, even a pet if needed. Youâll still get your full shield value.
And thatâs basically your starter pack for Windwalker. Use defensive cds on high HP, watch your healer, swap targets around and do big leg sweep dmg gos. Thatâs it.
Finally someone with proper explanation. In my last ss a holy priest told me just press your buttons but the enemy team had a sub rouge and he insta deleted me and I always used karma on rouge now i know why it was a bad idea. Thx Mate and for everyone else.
