Hey, I recently came back to wow and have been playing WW since legion so obviously got one caught up and I can’t help but feel like it feels really clunky to play? The rotation inside of SEF feels good due to Ordered Elements but outside of it lacking Expel Harm/ FotWT/ Power Strikes AND 60 energy TP feels pretty bad imo.
I liked that WWs were previously pressing every GCD it felt more like a nimble martial artist. Now I’m finding myself sitting for multiple seconds pooling. Not pressing BoK anywhere near as much which sucks cause it reduces our CD’s but if you do you don’t have the chi to even use them. Am I doing something wrong or is this just how the spec is played now? The spec felt like it had much more flow prior to this most recent rework.
Also the choice to remove Serenity and not SEF is a bummer. Could have easily made serenity more interesting and finally ditch this bugged mess of a cd that basically says “deal 20% more damage”.
With haste at about 10% it should be ok but yes, there are times where you’re energy starved. That does give it a clunky moment. Overall i don’t feel like the spec is clunky in its complete playstyle.
I’m assuming it’s Glizzy you’re talking about and that ones haste can be brought up a percentage or 2. It will probably play smoother then.
I felt the same after Legion & described it as ‘clunky’ too.
iirc, Haste reduced our GCD in Legion, so gameplay felt really smooth & fluid. I tried to maintain WW through BfA, but it just wasn’t the same (coupled with the plethora of other changes -FoF stun/power strikes/15sec Paralysis/100% Karma/ steering FSK…) & I wasn’t feeling it anymore -so I ended up switching to MW.
It’s a shame what they reduced WW to, in comparison to old versions.
