I will be entirely sincere here - there are issues. Thereâve been issues, thereâs members in there who are genuinely foul who I wished werenât associated with the group because it makes everyone else seem compliant with their xenophobic, nahtsee-adjacent viewpoints that are heinous and indefensible. These are the same people that liked to view themselves as the secret police of RP, acting like theyâre the Gestapo in DMs when people donât log on to RP, or jump from guild to guild, or fail to stick to one character.
Is that a representative of the PCU as a whole? No, it never was, and Iâm fairly certain those people have since left the game - or at the very least I hope they have, weâre better off without them.
All of that being said though - do we need Lilynore, founder and leader of Argent Dawnâs Goldshire guild rambling on like heâs in late-stage dementia reliving his 'nam days to tell us why the PCU is bad with all the nuance of a half-sleeping toddler? No, absolutely not. If anything Lilyâs insistence on this absolutely batcarp insane makes the PCU look BETTER by comparison.
I donât hate the PCU, or whatâs left of it, or the name theyâre under now, but there was issues.
Issues that I doubt Lily cared about because all of the issues HE has are âwaa the internet repeatedly told me to stop ERPingâ

I get holding people accountable and I am a vocal advocate of such. But I think itâs about time that we hold the individual accountable and not the group.
Fully agree. Some of my nearest and dearest were part of the PCU, and theyâve not got a bad bone in their body. The actions of one should not define the entire group, who literally just want to roleplay. I can dislike members of the PCU without disliking the entire group.
I donât even know the issue with Lilynore, in honesty. Other than using a voice changer with Asmongold and being a notorious ERPer. But am I chastising every single ERPer out there for the actions of Lilynore? No. Because thatâs not how the world works.

That on itâs own wouldnât be too bad(just kind of weird) if it also wasnât for it also A) involved minors in a couple of cases, and B) trying to make it everyone elseâs business by constantly making public forum posts and âeventsâ for said ERP.
I will admit, thereâs also some personal grudge from my end as they threatened to dox my entire family at point and also did some other direct threats to my physical being. Iâm not really that forgiving of those situations as I would be if it was just some random troll.

Aight, so the history here is that Lilynore hates the PCU because I exposed his brothel operation having several minors in the roster.
After that info came out, he went absolutely ape, managed to get an interview with Asmongold and hilariously embarassed himself in an attempt to damage control.
Goldshire lux seems to be dead, so good riddance.

Chastise them because they have zero boundaries. Had a guy message me a week or so back asking âhey, didnât we ERP a while ago?â I said no, because we didnât, and he went on to outline explicitly what he thought my character and his did.
So I logged off⌠and the same dude whispers me on ANOTHER of my characters like
Sir if youâre down that bad for werewolves and spacegoats there are websites that you can go to where artists will cater to your niche interests. Leave me the F. alone.
Yeah donât worry, I donât think anybodyâs going to lay into you for not having it within your heart to forgive Lilynore - especially when heâs still on his BS and apparently off his meds.

Never knew this and am absolutely appalled. I know the interview and even Asmongoldâs viewers make reference to the voice changer.
And this is absolutely revolting. Beyond vile behaviour that I 100% do not tolerate.
There are freaks everywhere, omg. I hope you got away from them and they donât bother you anymore. Report them too - harassment and all that.
I try to give people the benefit of the doubt with what consenting adults do with their game time. So long as they donât involve me, minors or someone who doesnât consent. But this is going, again, with the notion of holding the individual accountable rather than the entire group.
Not everyone is going to agree with me on my stance on ERP, of course. But just laying out my perspective.

Yeah it didnât help that at the time he still had his goofy website where you could âhireâ the âescortsâ for an hour of âfun filled roleplayâ, and half of them were played by actual children.

Offtopic: Hey Sabalon. Fancy seeing you around. Are you guys still somewhat active ?
To give you some further context on this, following said interview, we got maybeâŚfour threads per week over the span of a couple of months where they would constantly bring up ERP and why it was good and healthy for the server, make several public events for ERP(including a wedding for their character), and a few discussions on why ERPing with minors was both A) Not a big deal or a problem, and B) if it was, then it was the parents fault for letting them play WoW in the first place.
Lilynore did on about 80 different occasions also openly talk how they didnât do any vetting with their ERP partners in the guild because âit wasnât neededâ, but got very angry when called about about it.
Alot of these threads also devolved into arguing with people, threatening them and all manner of just really inappropriate behavior. We also got at least one thread where they asked AD to band together and help defend their guild because a ârivalâ ERP guild was taking up space in goldshire.
So as said, they made it everyone elseâs problem too and never kept it to private.
There was also another event, but I donât know if Lilynore was behind it or if it was one of the other AD villains, but during one afternoon some random who had a similar beef made about 20+ different threads in all caps, each one titled things like âPCU ARE ALL insert racial slur here.â or âPCU ALL LIKE BIG Insert racial slur here, male genitaliaâ.
During that afternoon, the entire forum page was nothing but 1 post threads like that from this person. As said, I donât know if that was Lilynore or someone else however, but it is likely it was the former.
