rogue mage might not be the best comp at the top of the ladder but it is perceived as a very strong comp in the lower brackets because players make one mistake (double trinket or whatever) and the game is over. Also they stomp every team that has a slight gear disadvantage with ease because you have to overreact to any go otherwise you just die through defensives

Trust me you make more than one mistake if you made 1 mistake you would be 3k rated lose the ego you are not that good you just cant see all the mistakes you make.

The problem with low rated players is that they do not understand the game enough to counter rogue mage its true rogue/mage in the right hands is almost unwinnable if you dont play some broken spec to counter it but there is so many broken specs right now.

To all the people playing any healer with an S tier dps in 2s you need to remember how much your rating is been boosted just by doing this a current 2500 rated holy/survival/feral/outlaw/demo is on par with a 2100 rated rogue/mage you can be a 3k frost atm playing with a hpala and a 2k rated survival/dk/feral/outlaw will beat you in 2v2 it does not matter what you do the class does not have tools to be good outside of MLD/P because of class design it needs to be changed no mage cares if you nerf our damage then just make our class fun and then tune it.

Its obnoxious to witness these children/“adults” w/e individuals complain when they have all they need and more and even thats not good enough Have to be buffed into “godgamerx” to uplift the fragile egos and low self esteems and what ever

Its good to just ignore these types as nothing will never be enough for them and their behavior is toxic to be frank

every xpac Blizz tickles those specs with mewger nerfs and they stay the top dog the whole xpac and then a new xpac comes and they get overtuned again… rinse and repeat all the while reading here from mage and rogue players how their classes are literally unplayable after each meager nerf.

Problem is not the regular player crying that was always part of the game but what really grinds my gear are those streamers and the dishonesty its so annoying seeing people like whaaz or xaryu crying about their classes while knowing fully they play the most op class and keep defend it… its very dishonest same for that commentor in AWC who is always downplaying mages I think he mains a mage… I expect some integrity from those guys but it seems lying and dishonesty is the norm nowadays…

I dont see how you could even begin to compare the two. Gate and port are each respectively longer Cds rhan both Shimmer and Blink, btw a 15 second stunbreak mobility cd or yhe ability to shimmercast corners is totally comparable to gate and port.

You also get a freedom on your port and a 50-60% speed boost for 4-5 seconds only warlock players think they have no defensives atm its a very easy class port is better than shimmer for the warlock playstyle and its 7 seconds longer cd most warlock players are really trash too its kinda funny facing demo lock on frost mage atm with how many kicks and interrupts the class has while been the new BM hunter i have never even played the class and i got 2400-2500mmr in 273 ilvl with like 50 wins in 2s its busted beyond belief.
