This company is a joke they are actually replacing ring of frost where you have to place it with mass polymorph 
Ring of Frost is still available as well.
Not where they have placed it the talent is in a spot where you have to lose out on half the talents you really want to be able to play it and you cant play any of the bottom talents as frost.
They need to remove this mass polymorph talent and put ring in its place or swap them around.
We have to legit put 3 talents into frigid winds something that should be baseline just to get a needed talent for pvp incase you are kicked on polymorph we cant even put talents into things like cryofreeze etc to do 2s ring of frost should be way lower there is 0 reason for this mass polymorph spell to be in the game.
Oh I didnāt get thay you meant it like that. Yeah, if you want DB and RoF you basically have to leave the middle branch, which doesnāt seem ideal.
Ye and to get them both you cant get shifting powers or time anomaly its kinda dumb tbh they could atleast change frigid winds into deep freeze then it would be worth to take it but other than that frost is going to be the new go to spec for rmp because its full instant cast now.
Feels like you are just straight up wasting 7 talents just to get to ring of frost atm.
Mage/Rogue is going to have one hell of a fun expansion again

If rogues will go live the same as now (alpha), a mage will just need to land a few polys and CS >> stay afk to win. Donāt worry.

its not about a comp been fun its about a class been fun dont try act like ret/warr do anything big brain either.
you know, i am very certain that is the point of putting the talents into these spots so you WILL lose one of it for sure or gimp the rest of yourself.
Mage currently has way too many things so instead of just pruning the abilities and cause an outrage, they will just make it so you have to pick your favorite one but cannot have everything
they could have put ring of frost and sheep for example on the same talent row in shadowlands, same effect basically

You are mistaking RMP having a lot of tools to mage having a lot of tools you currently have more tools on shaman than mage does and that is saying something mage just works really well in rmp because of how bust works and DB.

Maybe thatās the idea? If you want extra cc you need to give up something for it.
Seems like a design in the right direction to me as long as they do that to all classes.

Ret war is one of the dumbest comps in the game, just as any double plate wearers + healer. Thats rudimental game design from the days when armor meant something. (27% in BiS pvp gear rn lol)
Its the same DR of cc and has been in the game since wotlk or cata it is a balanced spell for frost mage as its on our main damage school fire i agree should not having it i just want deep freeze back for mage or to be able to choose a talent that frost needs to be viable in pvp.
Idc if it makes the game unbalanced i want frost mage to be a fun spec again not some polly bot for rmp lets look at the current casters who can set up kills for themselfs.

These all have stuns and or silences so that they can do solo pvp what does mage have blink and heals? how about remove the self heals make mage back into the control class its supposed to be.

Every comp is currently dumb there is the PVE caster cleaves with demo there is jungle none of the comps take skill just turns out rmp is the best currently.
remember when it wasnāt rmp but mage / x / x in almost every game?
Since those times the didnāt lose any tools rather than maybe some dmg. It also shifted more to rmp because of how broken rogue is.
the ability to control 2 member by yourself, being immortal and on demand instant burst is what makes mage S tier. Mage is not S tier because of rogueā¦
before rmp it was ww mage, mage priest, mage wl, mage warrior, etc.
those comps are still good, just rmp blows everything out of the water (or most of it)

You have 0 idea how mage currently is as you dont play mage and not even the game currently all of the comps you just mentioned all have setup for the mage also mage is taken in them comps to be a combust bot if ele or warlock are better like they currently are they are taken over mage.
also we are talking frost mage here if you maybe didnt see like you think ww/frost warr/frost has been good this xpac?
And yes mage is S tier because of rogue currently mage outside of rmp is nowhere near demo lock status.
If mage having polymorph and ring and been immortal is the problem then why is frost not top tier atm?
