It’s been a while since I could see numerical values on my XP-bar without mouseover. I thought I’d get used to it, but truth is, it still sucks. Is there any way I could get this back? I’m not trying to mess with those who don’t want it, just let people choose whatever works for them.
Get an addon to do what you want, you can replace any ui elements with addon ones more customised to what you want.
I personally use elvui which is a complete ui replacement with tons of customisation options. Takes some figuring out and setting up, but once i did that i never went back.
If your not looking to change your entire ui, just the xp bar element, there is one called XP MultiBar that replaces the bar with a skinned one with lots of info like exp earned, exp left and exp to next level right on the bar.
If that doesn’t work for you try Advanced XP Bar which keeps the default blizz bar, just keeps the mouseover text visible at all times.
If niether of them work just keep trying others, there are tons of different exp bar addons.
Isn’t that an interface option ?
Pretty sure I can see my xp bar text without having to mouse over and without any add-on (I usually level up without any interface addon, the basic one is kinda nice at low levels)
This may work for retail too - so give it a try
