I was wondering, is there any information or at least a shade of whisper for a possibility to have the lvling xp requirements nerfed for the next patch? It’s the last patch of the expansion, so it would be faster to lvl a few alts with less xp needed to lvl 60-70, but I couldn’t find any information about it.
As I recall there was something like that in previous expansions, I think 
There have been XP gain buffs a couple of times but I think these were in covid lockdowns.
Expansion Pre-Patches often have a rapid leveling event (since around Legion) such as Invasions that give a lot of XP.
When an expansion is no longer current its leveling requirements do tend to be reduced.
I don’t think they’ve reduced the leveling xp required when an expansion is current. They used to do something here with Heirlooms where later in an expansion they’d release items (quite expensive) to upgrade your heirlooms which at the time provided bonus XP depending on how many you wore.
There is going to be that Retor Padnadaria thing. Essentially Pandaria Open world will be scaled up to level 70 and they are doing something like a SoD for it, don’t know if it will be faster though.
I see, so probably I will have to wait with multiple alts till pre-patch. As for Pandaria thingy, I think you have to make a new character that will be imported to retail after the event ends, so ot won’t let me lvl my existing chars I have at lvl 60 now.

It takes about 20hrs to level to 70 and that is without ways to speed it up by min/maxing such as rested xp, darkmoon buff, other holiday buffs, leveling in Dream Surge area plus the additional Dream Surge leveling buff that can be voted on.
I’m not a huge fan of leveling but over the last few months I’ve level characters to 70 only to then delete them as they really weren’t for me but the point is, they were so easy to level it didn’t really matter.
Just go to an elemental storm and tag the elites and primalist mobs other people are killing. I’ve been doing 6-12 min levels and taken 4 characters from 60- 70 on the last few days. It’s remarkably quick
That is only for new characters, it won’t help existing but I imagine it will end when the pre-patch for TWW hits and then we get a typical world invasion event that grants XP and gear.
For 60-70 the fastest way is to spam timewalking dungeons, it really is very quick especially if you are with rested XP.
They said once the new expansion arrives, DF will be the default starter experience. As others said they’re more likely to introduce an xp buff.
