Xp rates leveling in tbc

give more xp for leveling instead of boosting straight to lvl 70

They are doing that.

There is no point. Boost are terrible, but they at least get money for that. For increased xp rates there will be nothing gained.

If they boosted XP rate I’d quit. This isn’t some ridiculous private fun server with insanely inflated experience gains.

The solution to boosting is what it’s always been, stop players gaining experience if accompanied by a player five-or-more levels higher than they are.

They did it in 2007 so why not now?

He isn’t referring to the reduced exp that Blizzard added in TBC, he’s referring to the private server version of boosted rates: I.E 2x, 3x, 6x exp, etc etc.

The OP is a troll and that’s what he was asking.

I thought the OP was talking about mage or pally boosting in dungeons.

btw I read it as altering official server XP.

oh so you agree that boosting should stay in the game ? #somechanges and boosting -> OUT! I don’t care if it was part of the game in 2007 or not its just bad game design if someone can boost you up so whats the point of lvling then… Thats how I boosted my characters as well 3 alts. Ofcourse we will take less resistance path that requires least amount of time and patience and farm boosts even if it completely demolishes lvling and mmorpg experience you bum bum.

Levelling in Classic Azeroth is trivial content once TBC hits, some people just won’t admit that. Dungeon Boosting to 60 is allowed.

Why? Exp or no, you can still do quests when everything is grey.

You people always want to decide what is good/fun for others

Next time you reply to a post, read the post you’re replying to properly. Don’t just skim-read the first line and immediately jump to the conclusion that 2+2=5.

Now. Go read my post again, and then we’ll continue.

You’re the person who asked for LFG to be added to TBC Classic.

So I’ll throw your own answer straight back at you. You can still do dungeons by forming a group yourself, you people always want to decide what’s fun for others.

The 58 boost costs money, and are optional. It gives more money to Blizzard, it allows for a larger playbase… It’s win win IMO. There will still be players that level up normally, maybe this will stop the dungeon boosting somewhat.

Please correct yourself. LFG IS in classic TBC.

Obviously you’re being pedantic/sarcastic.

‘LFG’ in the context within which I used it refers to the tool that was implemented in WotLK, and not the version in TBC, as I suspect you know full well. Sorry, but laboriously typing out ‘The automated dungeon finder tool from Wrath of the Lich King and onward’ each and every time it’s mentioned just isn’t going to happen.

No, I think the player wanted the Retail version, and just call it Retail LFG or Teleport LFG.

But how to call actual LFG tool? For dungeon finder just use “Dungeon finder”. Problem solved.

This thread is now about differences between TBC and WotLK dungeon tools.

OK fine. In all future correspondence I shall endeavor to refer to the tool as ‘Dungeon Finder’ if referring to the WotLK version, and ‘LFG Tool’ if referring to the TBC version.

Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Trivial but slow = boring. Sorry, thats how it is. Even more slow and more boring in phase 6 when leveling zones are empty and you can’t even go dungeons because of lack of people.

Having exp boost is not a bad idea. I do not dare to say it loud because there is a horde of goons watiing to jump on everyone who dares to have a bright idea. (looking at Lorran)

I did play on private server and level x7 was very fun. Not that i would want that crazy amount in tbc. But some extra exp would not be bad actually.
