Y'all heard of this FF14?

How could we know for sure? The only available data is steam active users and it’s only for FF14.

But honestly who cares, just play what you want.

Wished I got into FF14 instead of WoW tbh. Played it casually for 3 months, and I enjoyed it immensely. But time commitment wouldn’t have it so I stuck with WoW.

Now though I’ve quit the MMORPG scene for good… till (full dive) VRMMOs become a thing. :stuck_out_tongue:

Do someone already played the end content in FF14 ? what is like ?

i cant believe FF14 end game is hard like mythic raiding / pvp high rating, like the community looks like full casuals , and nobody pvp in the game ? but FF community sell the game like it is so much harder than wow

He is more relevant than you for sure.

Just because he doesn’t like WoW in its current state doesn’t mean he hates WoW in general, he loves the game like all of us and he’s not alone feeling the same with this love/hate relationship recently.

WoW has big design flaws and SL isn’t not in a good state.

From my experience of early raiding the design philosophy for encounters is a bit different, fights were like dance choregraphies you have to learn by heart but once you do they are a cake walk. After that I quit but from what I gathered checking updates some bosses in the hardest difficulty are on par if not harder with mythic raiding.

Pass. Im waiting on Mike Morhaime’s new company to produce an MMO.

If you want the job done properly you gotta get the right people in.

Preach did a video where he was watching a raid the other day. I couldnt follow a thing of it cos the spell effects are waaaayyy over the top so i play with them tuned down.
I guess its meant to be hard in a different way from wow raids. From what I have seen the levelling content isnt harder or easier.

yes i have seen his video but i skipped it , i understand nothing , i don’t like the UI in FF gameplay .

The spell effects can be turned off for allies. The leveling content is quite easy, but it requires to do the raids and dungeons, and is way more engaging than spamming dungeons(you can level just spamming dungeons, but the endgame won’t be available until you do the MSQ)

Yeh im doing the MSQ just now. It seems fairly engaging but im early in and apparently it only gets better. Time will tell. The cutscene vvoice thing is annoying tho. It would be cool if they revamped it in the future to have voice acting but I guess that would be a huge job and require everyone on board

It’s way better than it was before the ARR revamp, but the really good story imo is after haevensward(50+ lvl). The story is really engaging, but I guess it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, especially for wow players. Raids are fun, but while they are not(at least the story ones) huge dps checks, they are still wipes if several people don’t do mechanics properly.

Yeh i feel yah. Its really customisable in game but not nearly as polished as like an elvui. Its also really big until you shrink it down

So much this ^^ Y’all and folks makes me …

Honestly, I think it’s more of a case that he’s moving on from the game.

He once loved it, it has a connection with his character. But the game has moved on in a way that he doesn’t enjoy anymore and in doing so started spreading toxic distaste about the game.

When he started calling out Developers a few weeks ago just to get more views, he did nothing more than just disrespect the people who work hard to make the game which he uses as a source of income (even when they’re struggling to do so through the pandemic). I was never a huge fan of his content, but in doing that he completely lost any respect I had for him, and quite frankly, I expect those developers feel the say way. I doubt he’ll be getting many bonuses from blizzard anymore.

It’s fine not to enjoy a game, but if it’s that bad that you find yourself going online and calling out developers, just play something else.

Especially if you are a developer yourself and still haven’t published anything in 3+ years.

Agree so much. This used to be strictly a Southeastern American word. Whenever I hear someone use it, I always ask if they’re from “the South”. It’s annoying.

I think that video with the manscaping advert was the last one of his that I ever watched.

Honestly that’s such a biased opinion, he gets views because people value his opinion and might even share it.
I’ve watched a bunch of his videos/streams recently and I didn’t find him super toxic, he even pointed out that it’s not the footsoldiers fault but moreso Ion and the other lead designers’ fault, he’s just brutally honestly imo and sure he swears a little bit too much now but it doesn’t devalue his point/opinion, WoW is not in a good state, people are fed up with the treadmills and broken systems.

I really doubt he’s moving on from WoW considering his whole career on youtube is built around it.

Why not? When you don’t like something you’re entirely free to say something, in some cases it even shows that people genuinely care otherwise they’ll just brush it off and move on.

It’s like saying movie critics should never publish critics, doesn’t make sense.

I never understood that forum mentality of always taking a dump on any content creator the moment they point out flaws with the game, WoW isn’t perfect and it’s time to wake up.

Saw the bundle was 15€… still made me ‘nope’. ARR is bad and I never want to go through that, neither am I willing to pay for skipping it.

Just when I thought the classic themed threads in the modern wow forum were kinda cheap…
