I’m introducing a friend to the game at the moment. I’ve helped him climb pretty easily up to 20s/21s and he’s competitive on the meters. Getting AD is an instant mood killer for us as he’s colourblind and the accessibility options offer no help for Yazma, obviously he can move to kite the spiders but the swirlies/small spiders he just can’t consistently avoid. It’s getting to the point where AD is a key we reroll as fast as possible because it’s just not fun. Any advice?
For clarification, soulrend puts purple on ground → swirlies put purple on ground → spiders are purple → he can’t tell the difference between the background, the boss, the spiders, the swirlies, and soulrend
Inky Black Potion.
Pro players use this thing to improve the contrast and see swirlies better.
Haven’t used it in Yazma, and I heard it was nerfed (correct me if im wrong) but it might help. Try it.
There are various colourblind options in game, do none of those work?
But I agree, contrast is something wow sucks at.
Every time that the devs imporve something on this subject its always because some minority with visual difficulties cant see it.
But making the life of everyone else better? NEVER…
Atal isn’t all that bad.
Check at about 30 min in. Purple you need to avoid or wipe mixed with purple you need to get in - or wipe.
You can’t make this crap up.
