Hi folks!
There were multiple topics about this problem, but it is really annoying and unfair. We (druids) can use only one one-handed weapon, but we can’t dual-wield. That’s why sometimes, you can spend weeks on doing M+, quests, pvp and you get nothing but useless one-handed weapons (what happened to me recently). I urge you to help me to solve this issue by elevating this topic, so it would become noticeable. Feel free to express your anger down below if you are not happy about this thing (or different opinion, still counts).
What are my initial demands? There are 3 alternatives:
1 - Druids should be able dual-wield (no matter same type of one-handed items or different types (like dagger+off-had item, for example).
2 - One-handed weapons should be removed from drood loot and/or it should be available to wield just 1 weapon without loosing ilvl and/or without loosing any power from having just 1 item instead of pair.
3 - Dual-wield available for tank and feral spec.
Type something below, any thoughts, ideas, whatever. I just want to raise awareness of this thing and make it as visible as possible. Even if ‘a-xa-xa-xa you are so dumb comrade’ is peak of you intellectual abilities, whatever, it still increase views and comments.
Since the only way to get onehanders to my knowledge is going resto or balance, im gonna comment on that.
Just because you are getting onehanders and not offhands doesnt mean the game should just turn around and change for you. I personally had a 445 offhand for weeks now and 0 onehander to go with it. So even if we went dualwield, doesnt mean you would magically always get 2 weapons to go with your fancies.
If you want to change that druid cant get onehander, in the long run i think that just takes away options for gearing, since many casters and healers can use onehanded and offhand weapons which can be traded to you too.
As for bear and feral, i dont really care. Tbh i expected dual wield after seeing them with daggers and fists for a whole xpac, but I know many ppl hated not having a staff, or polearm artifact cause the forums were loud about it years back.
For casters, i dont think dual wielding will be ever a thing, it never was as far as I know anyway. It would need balancing, and btw you running around with an offhand at full power and no onehander is really not a solution.
