They probably forgot to implement the fix for EU as they tend to do now

I still haven’t received my mail yet, is the hotfix not implemented in EU?
Or only the TW chest is hotfixed and not for the other chests including the weekly one?
A 350 green instead of a Champion item is great right?

No mail and a bunch of useless green items on 3 chars. No chance for a fix for this from Blizz oc

I haven’t got a clue if they’re updated for EU, A lot of people still waiting for an update post to address the issue that still persists. Hopefully they clear this up soon.

Any chance to also fix the “Catalyst turns PVP gear to PVE” bug? And add back the “increased item level in PVP” stat for those of us who converted their epic PVP gear to tier and got a low-level PVE item?

So uh
 how long do we wait until we start spamming your CS team with tickets, because we haven’t received an in-game mail with said cache replacement?

Returning player here from season 2
was planting to push m+ this season I delivered the weekly quest for champion gear and got an green belt lvl 350.also some other rewards didnt give right item lvl. I wrote an ticket about it and got an answere where he statens that high lvl gear for caches is IMPORTANT in start of the new season
 then he tells me this is something they cant do anything about and no reset quest or fix to comppensate players?? Holy, guess im not playing this season.

This is an game breaking bug for progression, and destroy the season start for people. And youre telling me you cant fix and give item, reset weekly quest. or solve it for players? Garbage customer support.

I got robbed from the weekly quest who supposed to give 493 gear. They said to me that they cant fix and wont compensate. Its crazy. Why would i continue play when random people just gets left behind the first week.

Theres nothing you gonna do with gear this season anyway, no mythic dungeon rewards, no new raids experience

  • Play LFR collect bronze Bullion and Get some cosmetics, Just chill until next expansion
  • Wasting your gold on this season is like throwing water in sand which gives Wet sand (In game item that has poor Quality and it says in the description “Theres nothing here”)

I’ve just submitted a ticket, providing links to both the above Blizz post and their own article detailing the problem and the fix they implemented, so I’ll see if it gets any different response.

don’t we have game breaking bugs every new patch? Remember like, emerald dream seed rep spam due to bug etc? Like come on, it just keeps happening.

No new update i guess we’re not getting any fix for the [Flame-Warped Curio] From Timewalking cache.

I also have Curio 441 and received a disappointing reply that I should cope with the bug. What the hell is this? I have spent TIME to do this and expect to receive the proper result like it worked for other.

It is not like I did not receive the item I wanted. I did not received a reward at all?!

Horrendous approach and a horrendous Season start without any guides, explanations on how to do things etc. What the heck is this even?

Here’s my progress so far with the ticket I’ve opened - my original comments vs the response I received.

My original ticket comments;

Timewalking loot item level reward from the weekly quest came out as a 441 item level token that I’m not able to do anything with.

This was noted as a ‘known issue’ from Blizzard’s side, and was fixed - however, on your article here (https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/000010566) it was mentioned that ‘Affected players have received an in-game mail with the cache replacement’ - I have, along with so many other people, not received this ‘replacement’.
It was also noted, again, here on your very Forums (https://prnt.sc/Cxj62mDu2_Wp) by one of your, I believe, customer service people? Two places can’t be wrong right?

I would like for the replacement to be provided to me asap, to my Mistweaver Monk, Baeffyn - as this is the character that did not receive the correct item, nor the ‘replacement’ supposedly issued.

Please do not tell me you’re unable to do anything about it - if you can’t, speak to someone within Blizzard that can. Escalate it up the chain if you have to until you get a ‘yes’ response. :slight_smile: Thanks.

Suffice to say, I’ve reopened the ticket to push this further as it’s blatantly a copy-paste response from what seem to be people who can’t think or act outside of the box. Completely unacceptable considering it’s been stated in two places they’ll provide the ‘replacement’. :confused:

Edit: 10 hours later, still no response to the reopened ticket. Guess they’ll reply while I’m asleep, or early morning so they can close the ticket without doing anything. :unamused:

Hey there,

It’s our understanding that you received a 441 Flame-Warped Curio from your recent Timewalking cache and you were hoping to receive a reward that was level appropriate

This was a known issue where Caches of Awakened Treasure from the Burning Crusade Timewalking quest were rewarding items that were lower level than expected. This has been fixed by the developers and rewards received before the fix were exchanged for level appropriate Caches

It was also possible when opening these caches that you could receive a 441 Flame-Warped Curio from your Timewalking cache. We can confirm this is not an issue under any further investigation and no exchange will be possible for this item. We definitely understand this is less than ideal and we are very sorry you ended up with this token which has no use in the new season, but with regret we must confirm it is not possible to seek an exchange or swap to optimum loot here. Customer Services cannot exchange your Flame-Warped Curio for an item of your choosing or provide you any sort of alternative proposal and we are truly sorry about that.

If you have feedback about this incident with the Timewalking loot in Season 4, it’s something you need to send to the developers using “Submit a Suggestion”, which you can find in “Submit Feedback or Bug Report” in the Support menu, and then click “Submit a Suggestion”.

Everything written there goes direct to them for consideration. While they won’t reply personally to you, they read everything they receive and will welcome your feedback.

So far, they’re refusing to provide the cache they’ve stated - in two places - that we should have received as ‘affected players’. Again, I’ve reopened the ticket and stated I - along with so many of you - opened this box PRIOR to the bug fix, therefore, we’re affected players and should have received this replacement also.

Now to wait another 17+ hours before I get another copy-paste bs response. :confused: Stay tuned!

They have no interest in addressing the issue that continues. I guess it’s better to alienate players more before heading into a season that literally has zero content of real value. All it does is hurt their numbers heading into a new expansion. If bugs are a joke after we’ve spent actual time doing “timewalking,” which is a limited-time event. Same copy-pasta auto-reply angle.

So, after 48+ hours, my ticket was answered again roughly an hour ago - the response is

Apologies for the delay in a reply, it’s very busy at the moment but we’re working hard on getting that back to normal as soon as possible!

There was a known issue with the newest Season 4 gear and awards being applied correctly, this was widely reported to the developers by players using the in-game bug tool and the forums.

A hotfix has been applied for those players that were affected within a certain timeframe, a replacement cache was sent directly to the characters involved.

This was done by the developer teams and a post was added about it here: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/opened-timewalking-cache-before-hotfix/1837132/31

For any other affected caches the GM team cannot offer or provide a workaround from our end.

This includes enabling Catalyst upgrades, replacement items, or entirely new gear, nor can we start / reset any progression quests or trackers on request.

I know you’d wanted another answer on this, but it is the full and honest one and I thank you for taking the time to read it, even if you might disagree with it.

If you find a new issue, please report it as a bug inside the game with a bug report which will send information about the effected character, or you can also post to the bug reporting forums anytime with any information you have.

I’ve (again) reopened it, to ask what/how long this specific ‘timeframe’ was, without giving any specifics from my end, to see what they considered an ‘affected player’ to receive the replacement.

Now to wait another 24+ish hours for another copy-paste, “I can’t think for myself, 'cos I go by a script” response. :confused:
